[redacted] ***:This is in response to your December 17, e-mail to mePlease be advise of the following:VBS was waiting on the approval of the insurance adjuster in order to complete repairsThe [redacted] wanted a new roof and we could not comply without them agreeing to pay for one or for the insurance company to approve the repairsAs happens, all repairs have been completed, the insured (the [redacted] ) have spent the funds that the insurance company sent for the repairs and we have turned the matter over to our attorney for collectionsThere was a misunderstanding in what we discussed with [redacted] and her expectationsSometimes the insured assumes that we do the work and the insurance company just pays usThis is not the case as approvals are needed and as happened in this instance we are now out $6,because the funds intended for us were spent by the insuredThank you for the opportunity to reply and we would be happy to expedite anything, however, the only resolution at this point is for us to get paid
