As happens, all repairs have been completed, the insured (the [redacted]) have spent the funds that the insurance company sent for the repairs and we have turned the matter over to our attorney for collections. There was a misunderstanding in what we discussed with [redacted] and her expectations. Sometimes the insured assumes that we do the work and the insurance company just pays us. This is not the case as approvals are needed and as happened in this instance we are now out $6,700 because the funds intended for us were spent by the insured. Thank you for the opportunity to reply and we would be happy to expedite anything, however, the only resolution at this point is for us to get paid.
