As a company we take customer service quite seriously.  Because of this, we are highly concerned if a client feels that they have had a less than satisfactory experience.  If an issue is raised, we always discuss it with the specific inspector, review the report and then respond to our...

client as quickly and thoroughly as possible. With this in mind, we will respond to your concerns for the third time. When you reached out initially, we reviewed the matter and directed you to look at both your report, which found areas of concern and recommended further evaluation, and your service agreement, which specified the scope of our inspections.   The issues raised are addressed within the parameters of these documents.When you then reached out to us via legal counsel, we again responded quickly and clearly via our counsel.  We have not received a response to date.   To that end, we are now responding for a third time in an effort to address your issues.  A home inspection is a snapshot of the property on that date and time only, not a process to predict the future. So it is always unfortunate when issues, which can happen even with the most thorough of inspections, arise after a home purchase.In this specific case, we feel the inspection was conducted in accordance to the state standards of practice and our own process (which is outlined in the service agreement) and therefore we were not responsible for these issues.  Specifically regarding the damaged pipe, we did not deny or dis-believe that there was an issue. What we dispute is that it fell within the scope of our responsibilities. We regret that any client has issues with us and feels that they need to go to this format.That said, we would be happy to discuss this matter further offline.
