I am responding to the complaint by *** ***I called *** , The number on the repair order and the person that answered phone said she was ***She said all was fine with the serviceI called this number two timesWE received a call 8-24-and she said she was *** and was
having a concernI Told Mrs*** that I thought I had spoke to her at this number and she said noHaving a oil change can not effect the way a transmission changes gearsI informed her to drop by when she can and I would be happy to drive her vehicle and help her all I can

Jessica *** purchased vehicle 10/09/which came with a day mile drive train warrantyOn 5/11/i was contacted by ms *** that she was having problems with the vehicleAt this time she told me she had placed 10,miles on the vehicle since her purchase which was well outside
the warranty covergae provided to herWe decided at this time as a good will gesture to pay a portion of Ms ***s bill for repairsAfter a couple of weeks I was informed by her she was having additional problems with the vehicleI at that time informed her I felt that I had done all I could do to help her

We regret to hear that Mr*** is having a concern with his vehicle; The vehicle was purchased in December and his warranty has since expired, he didn’t contact us with any issues until last weekAt no time did we misrepresent the vehicle, but if Mr*** is having issues pertaining to the

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]The telephone number called by the business is not my number; I am agreeable to taking my vehicle back for inspection and repair at the business' expense. A final decision regarding the status of my complaint will be made upon the business' repair(s).Due to the business being an hour away and other events currently in existence, I will make every effort to bring my vehicle in for the promised inspection and repairs. within the next seven days. We were in touch with the manufacturer as to the nature of this problem.  The manufacturers rep asked that we have the customer contact GE for a possible resolution to the issue.  We are not aware whether or not the customer did so, as they were advised this on 12/12.  We will contact...

the GE rep again on our own and see if we can resolve the issue without contact by the customer to them.  I will update after we have been in contact with GE.

The business has resolved my complaint.  Please close as resolved.Thank you for your help!

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  As mentioned in my initial complaint Walt Sweeney lied to me when I purchased this vehicle. As their response admits, the salesman said no major repairs had been done to the vehicle and presented me with a CarFax report showing that no major components had been changed on the vehicle knowing that they had recently paid to replace major components. One wonders that since they replaced the instrument cluster, did they also roll back the miles?I hope the Revdex.com continues to alert people in our community to Walt Sweeney Ford's deceptive practices. I have also lodged an official complaint with Ford Customer Service  and with now proceed with the Ohio Attorney General.

I did agree to inspect the vehicle. we did a oil change --however I did not agree to repair anything at no charge --Must inspect the vehicle first
