Dear *** ***,
Regarding complaint no***, I had spoken to the complaintant concerning the work done and found her statements to be unfounded and untrue
A business does not survive since by dealing unfairly with its customers either cost wise or ethically wise; neither does it
survive by allowing misunderstanding or miscalculating customers to dictate unreasonable requestsEven her statement to you is not what she told me or was said
So as not to be like her and to relate what others charge, I'll shorten this with mentioning the absurdity of the last sentence of twenty (20) minutes for the job
We will accept a minimal payment of three hundred dollars ($300.00) to settle this accountOtherwise, we will pursue collection through a district court legal complaint for amounts not paid
Yours truly,

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me regardless of his denial.

Review: I called this plumber to unclog my sewer line on Saturday 5/3. He informed me that nobody would come out until Monday. I was told the rate was $75 an hour. Two men arrived at 8:35 am. They connected the snake and unclogged thedrain within 20 minutes. Then one of them started telling me my plumbing had several potential problems. The snake went the wrong way. Then said there was mud, implying a broken pipe. So they keep snaking the cleared pipes a few more times asn making flush water about 10 times. When I asked if they had a camera to clear up all these speculation, he said they have to come back with one under contract. I declined. After an 1 hour they left.
I was billed $400 for 1 hour of work. I contacted them regarding the bill and he said they were charging $75 for EACH guy(one who stood around and talked to me or on his cell phone over half the time.) which is $150 an hour for 2.5 hours plus an equipment maintenance charge of $25. He said it was 2.5 hours because they were also charging for for the time to load the truck and drive to my house, and drive back , and clean the equipment. This is completely not stated on their website and was not disclosed with $75 rate. It is completely unreasonable.
When I told him the way he calculated the bill was complete not standard and not fair, he told me to write to Revdex.com and also told me that if I didn't pay it he would take me to collections. This is even before the bill is even due and I never said anything about payment.
I have had this service by other plumbers before. The first was $90. The last time I was charge $190, and that time the guy had a camera and took video of my line.( I couldn't reach him this time). So I knew my pipes were good. The average rate today in this PA area is $259( especially if it only takes 20 minutes.)Desired Settlement: At $75 an hour FOR THE SERVICE a fair charge is 1.5 hours which equals 112.5. I am willing to pay $200. The 2.5 hours is false.
