In July of we repaired the front axle on the customer's tractorThe total work order was$including us hauling the tractor to our shop and back to customerAt the time of repair a $500down payment was made.October 10, the customer came in and told us there were issues with
the tractorHe said hewould pay for parts, but not for the labor until that was resolvedAt that time he gave us a check for$2108.66.October 27, a note was sent with the monthly statement asking him to call and schedule to getthe repairs done.November 26, we again sent a note with the statement and our Service Manager called and lefthim a message to get back to us about the repairs.December 4, customer called the Manager and told him the tractor was not making the noiseanymore and he would send a check for the balance, less the $finance charges that it was agreedto rebate.December 12, received check for $2022.12, which paid account.June of we worked on the tractor againThe work order was $including hauling to andfrom our shopAt that time the customer talked to our Manager and requested "a little time" to paythe billHe needed to sell some livestock and then would make paymentsBefore the tractor washauled back to the customer, the tractor was test driven by our Service Manager and of our servicetechs who tested the 4wd and confirmed that it was workingThe customer also drove the tractor andsaid it was working before it was loaded and returned to his ranch.October 18, the customer came in and told us the tractor was not working correctlyHe wouldonly pay $which was for parts not related to the 4wd.To date this is the only money we have received towards this bill.We ordered parts for further repairs on the tractor, but we will not consider doing any more repairsuntil the bill from June is paid.Don W***Walter Implement, In c.Box 278Odessa, Wa 99159509-982-

I am rejecting this response because:I have no dispute with the first 5 paragraphs of thebusiness message. The tractor did not make the noiseat the December 4, 2014 date but went we went intothe field again it started and the 4 WD was notworking. We use the tractor almost every daywhether feeding stock or putting up hay. If it goes toshop, we need something to replace it.It should be noted that I thought the bill of $4393.84was extremely high for replacing bearings on theright front of tractor especially when I took the wheeloff and found the bad bearings in less than an hour inthe field.We also had to buy a set of chains for tractor ($720) so that we could continue to operateWe were able to get the tractor back to the businessin June 2016 in which more work was done not onlyto 4WD but throttle. It seemed to be working until weAgain had it in the field and feeding stock, and foundthat it was not working again.I paid the part of the bill that covered the throttle butnot the rest.I then talked to a mechanic who was let go by thebusiness and whom I consider a reliable source andhe advised that the work that was done first was notright and if anyone has any questions to contact him.One of the mechanics currently working for businessstopped at the ranch and checked the tractor againand called me and advised that he thought we shouldhave an activator and a switch. I advised him at thattime that I was not going to pay for anymore partsuntil the problem is resolved.I feel that the problem should have been resolvedwith the first trip to the shop. We have been fightingwith the issue all winter again (being stuck 3 times).I'm am considering having another business work onthe tractor and if results show that Walter Implementwas at fault, having the bill sent to them.I have also contacted the main office back east whichgoverns dealerships but have not heard from the fieldman in this area. I have called them 4 times.
