I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I'm sure Mr. T[redacted] runs a good business that's why I was using him, but in this instance he dropped the ball. After it happened, maybe it took a few weeks, until (oh no) it fogged up between the glass when the sun hit it, and I knew what that meant, so I then called him, and reported it to him. At this time his company had been cleaning my windows for some time, and before him I had [redacted] Window Cleaning for years and years until they dissolved their business. Currently I have a new company cleaning them, because I couldn't continue to use Mr. T[redacted]'s company because of the response I got from him over my claim. I have NEVER made any claims against any prior or subsequent window washing company. I never would have expected a window cleaner to give me a problem like this. Telling me it didn't happen, when he wasn't inside my house hearing the snap against the glass, isn't the right answer. I told him on the phone when I called him "you just gave me a problem", but he didn't seem to care.If Mr. T[redacted] has insurance like he says he does, my claim SHOULD have been reported to his insurance company and investigated, and I should not have been dismissed that it didn't happen just because his guy wouldn't own it. That is the very reason you carry insurance. His cleaner snapped something against this bottom pane...I heard it from inside the house, and I stand by my claim. Whatever he hit it with, was enough just to break the seal, not the glass. It started to fog up after this, and this fogging when the sun hits this pane has now caused cloudiness between the glass, which can be seen when the morning sun shines on this window, and it just keeps getting worse and worse as more time passes. This very large circle top window luckily is made up of 2 lower sq. windows with a large circle window above. The window affected is one of the lower square windows.

Attn: [redacted]I am writing in response to Complaint [redacted]. I spoke with my Forman, Ray, regarding this situation and he assured me that at no time during the cleaning process did his ladder or bucker hit the window. I have been in business for over 50 years and Ray has been my Forman...
for 30 of those years.I have business insurance with the [redacted], which Ray is well aware of, and he would have had no hesitance to report the situation to me if anything had occurred on that particular job. The customer did not see Ray touch her window she just assumed that he did.If I felt responsible in any way for the condition of her window I would not hesitate to take full responsibility, however I do not feel that we have any ownership regarding what happened to this window.Thank you for your attention to this matter.Sincerely,[redacted]
