Dear Ms [redacted] My name is [redacted] I am the General Manager of Walter’s Audi I spoke with Ms [redacted] last week and she shared her experience with me I advised Ms [redacted] we do not hold onto cars once they reach days of age in our inventory and it was our impression that she was not happy with the payment on the vehicle she was interested in, which was a Audi TT Our final asking price on the vehicle was $plus Tax and license and she requested an Extended Limited Warranty Service Contract that was $ If you add the Selling price $plus California Sales tax $plus the doc fee $plus the California License fee of $the total amount financed is $34,divided by the term we offered months the payment( without any interest) is ($482) times term Her expectations were unreasonable to begin with and we spent lots of time trying to set her sights higher and were unable to do it I called her and advised her we could get the vehicle back from the Dealer we sold it to because it was an aged unit and sell it to her for her requested price and include the extended service contract but it would require $down payment on her part to get to the monthly payment she wanted of $a month We ran her credit because she requested financing with us and we had a signed credit application giving us permission to run her credit I can call the reporting agency but it has been my experience that getting them to remove anything is next to impossibleWe apologized for running her credit but we thought she wanted us to get her approved on credit This type of scenario happens from time to time that someone really wants a car but their budget does not allow for the type of car they are trying to obtain We offered her an interest rate of APR which is extremely competitive for extended term financing We were offering the car at the same price we wholesaled it to another dealer in Newport Beach I feel we did everything we could to help Ms [redacted] to obtain this vehicle but she was unwilling to come up with the down payment necessary to reach her desired goal of $per month for months at 2.99APR All of this transpired over a two or three day period prior to us selling the car wholesale to another dealer I gave Ms [redacted] the name of the new dealer who has the car she was not interested This was your claim ID#[redacted] Best regards, [redacted] General Manager Walter’s Audi ###-###-####

Ms [redacted] We spoke with Trans Union they indicated the request must come from Ms [redacted] She must first call Trans Union and make the requestThen she must send a letter requesting the removal and then they will decide whether they are willing to take down the credit report If Ms [redacted] has further question she can reach [redacted] one of our Finance Managers who made the request to Trans Union Best Regards, [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:
Dear ***,As a buyer, I have the right to ask questions regarding interest rates and payments as to which I would have been tied to for the remainder of the vehicle pay offIf the interest rate and payments were too high, I do have the right to ask whyWithin or less than minutes, you decide to wholesale the vehicle to another dealership and say the paperwork has already been processed is an insult to me after or less than minutesI am sure that I am not the only buyer who has questioned financing techniquesMy credit score is in the 700's so yes, I was asking why my payment was so highIf your salesperson would have told me you were whole selling the car before my final decision to run my credit and get the car, I would have declined running my credit from the beginning and looked elsewhereAgain, I am only asking for the inquiry to be removed from my creditNot asking for anything moreI have a Audi TT with the payment I desiredSo it was not that I disagreed with your payment policies and procedures, only questioned itThank you for removing the inquiryHopefully this helps with future selling techniquesNever tell the customer that the vehicle is available, there is a sale pending sticker on it, and that we can talk about configurations of numbers after running credit, only to sell the car right after their credit is run

Dear Ms*** My name is *** *** I am the General Manager of Walter’s Audi. I spoke with Ms*** last week and she shared her experience with me. I advised Ms*** we do not hold onto cars once they reach days of age in our inventory and it was our impression that she
was not happy with the payment on the vehicle she was interested in, which was a Audi TT. Our final asking price on the vehicle was $plus Tax and license and she requested an Extended Limited Warranty Service Contract that was $3980. If you add the Selling price $plus California Sales tax $plus the doc fee $plus the California License fee of $the total amount financed is $34,divided by the term we offered months the payment( without any interest) is ($482) times term. Her expectations were unreasonable to begin with and we spent lots of time trying to set her sights higher and were unable to do it. I called her and advised her we could get the vehicle back from the Dealer we sold it to because it was an aged unit and sell it to her for her requested price and include the extended service contract but it would require $down payment on her part to get to the monthly payment she wanted of $a month. We ran her credit because she requested financing with us and we had a signed credit application giving us permission to run her credit. I can call the reporting agency but it has been my experience that getting them to remove anything is next to impossibleWe apologized for running her credit but we thought she wanted us to get her approved on credit. This type of scenario happens from time to time that someone really wants a car but their budget does not allow for the type of car they are trying to obtain. We offered her an interest rate of APR which is extremely competitive for extended term financing. We were offering the car at the same price we wholesaled it to another dealer in Newport Beach. I feel we did everything we could to help Ms*** to obtain this vehicle but she was unwilling to come up with the down payment necessary to reach her desired goal of $per month for months at 2.99APR. All of this transpired over a two or three day period prior to us selling the car wholesale to another dealer. I gave Ms*** the name of the new dealer who has the car she was not interested. This was your claim ID#1*** Best regards, *** *** General Manager Walter’s Audi ###-###-####

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2016/05/20) */
Good afternoon, Mrs***'s visits were on, repair order#XXXXX, 2/15/at 116,miles, the engine Malfunction Indicator Lamp was illuminated and the vehicle was misfiring, we replaced the engine ignition coils and spark plugs to
correct the concern, during this visit the customer declined to replace the engine mounts, repair order#XXXXX X/11/at 118,miles the vehicle was in for the Malfunction Indicator Lamp Illumination, we replaced the engine crank case ventilation system hoses and check valve's to correct the concern, repair order#XXXXX X/2/at 119,the vehicle was in for the engine vibration, after discussion with Mrs***, we offered to install the engine mounts with no labor charge and offered for the customer to pay for the parts, this offer was to provide Mrs*** customer appreciation and help considering her requestAfter the engine mounts were replaced on 5/2/the vibration of the engine was reduced, there was still a vibration felt and the next step to eliminate the vibration would be the transmission mounts, at that time we contacted Mrs***, explained the vibration that was still present and asked if she would be ok to test drive with us to feel the reduction of the engine vibration and to see if she would like to move forward with the replacement of the transmission mountsAt that time the customer declined the transmission mount replacement

Good afternoon, Mrs*** was offered to have the engine mounts installed with the customer assistance of no labor charge, after the engine mounts were replaced we test drove the vehicle with Mrs*** to have the reduced vibration felt with her, after the test drive and discussion with Mrs*** we offered to have Mrs*** pay for the parts and we will not charge labor to installWe will honor our customer assistance for Mrs***, which is to not charge labor for the installation of the transmission mounts, Mrs*** pays for the parts only, this offer will expire on June 16,
