Revdex.com complaint ID# [redacted] In Response to complaint# [redacted] On 1/29/we were called out on an accident call by the Ohio State PatrolWhen we arrived on scene officer adv***d us that the car had rolled overTraffic Crash Report [redacted] attached, which explains everything about the accidentMiss H [redacted] also complained to the State Highway Patrol, after Investigating we are in the perimeters of billingWhat Miss H [redacted] doesn't understand is that no tow company will give you a quote for an accident like this over the phone (their are too many variables to give an accurate quote), [redacted] stated to us that quote given was just for a winchout onlyMiss H [redacted] had called us on 1/30/advising us she had full coverage on her vehicle, which we had adv***d her to let her insurance handle thisLater she called back and stated that she would have to handle this as she only had liability and would be coming to pick up her car and had a tow company that would be thereMiss H [redacted] was explained in detail about all the chargesAnd had also called our biggest competitor who after finding out that their charges were more than ours, Miss H***'s mother very heatedly told Miss H [redacted] to get out and just pay the billMiss H [redacted] has never brought to our attention that she would like a refund, which their is no refund to give as the charges were validHer insurance company had adv***d us that they are already refunding her half of the billWe are sorry that Miss H [redacted] is unhappy with our Company, she needs to understand that when law enforcement tells you to do a job we have to do itMiss H [redacted] never asked the officer to call a certain tow company nor did she ask about charges before we started the jobWe did not gouge or nor did we take advantage of her situationThe charges are adequate due to having to winch he vehicle 100ft, rotate the car and upright vehicle and tow back to our facilityAnd this was also explained to her by our biggest competitor before she paid the billMiss H [redacted] after paying stormed out with her mother and left the receipt on the desk and has never requested a detail receipt, if she had called us we would have been happy to send her a receiptHer insurance company and State Troopers also have a copy of this which we are also sending to youWalters Towing LLC is a family owned and operated company we take pride in our work and being very competitive with our pricing, and only provide the best customer serviceThank you, Christine W [redacted] Owner Walters Towing LLC

The bottom line is that Walter’s Towing took advantage of meThe driver told me the car was going to be put in their lotHe didn’t ask me where I wanted the car to be placedI had no say in the matterIt is usually the customer’s choice as to where they want the car to be towedThey saw that I am a young and inexperienced in these mattersMy insurance company is not refunding any money that was paid to Walter’s TowingWalter’s Towing claimed that I have received a refund and this is not accurateI was never given or handed an itemized billIt was never written upIt should have been given to me at the time when I paid for the towing but it was notThe charges are extreme and uncalled forWe sent to *** and their quote was $*** *** *** Towing was appalled at the price we paidAnd neither company has ever heard of Walter’s TowingWalter’s Towing was not negotiable on this outrageous priceThey have only been in business for a couple of yearsIf they wish to stay in business they need to be fair with their customers and not overcharge or gouge themThis is not good customer service at allOur experience with Walter’s Towing has been a nightmare to say the leastI hope they will not overcharge future customers and will offer a fair price
