Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2016/10/03) */ First off I want to Note that this client has posted separate complaints about our company in the last weeks , the first one about the salesmen , the second one about the dealership service, and now this one, If these were issues from Oct of last year until June of this yearWhy were they not brought up to management at the time of the situations, and why send different statements versus bringing it all to our attention at once ,Second [redacted] has Many years experience setting up people with tow packages and preforms demonstrations several times a week in the busy season, The way this braking system works is you set the brake buddy up on the floor , you hook the bracket to the brake pedal and you move the drivers seat forward to the brake buddy until it makes contact without applying pressure to the brake pedal, every time you set this up you preform a test on the brake buddy to ensure seat location and proper location , clearly the first trips the brake buddy was in the proper location , had it not been you would burn out the brakes on the vehicle on a 30min drive let alone hour or hour drive, Also you have to always check the light on your tow vehicle, had the brake pedal been depressed the brake lights would have been on on the tow vehicleWe could see excepting responsibility for a brake failure the first time the client drove the vehicle home , but not after it was set it up and it worked and certainly not after the client made a second trip and it worked again , [redacted] spent more then the proper time to show this client how this system works and in fact the day he picked up he was told by [redacted] then that he either needed a battery back up system or he needed to stop every mins and start the car to charge the battery, I myself the owner of the business and the salesperson were witness to this discussionIts very disappointing to hear a client thinks that this situation is at fault of the dealershipWe strive very hard for our clients satisfaction and in this situation we feel we have done nothing wrongIts very clear in the complaint that the brake system did NOT fail on the first couple trips and it sounds like the seat was to far forward putting pressure on the brake pedal causing the failure , its an unfortunate mistake , but of no fault of the dealership, the break buddy came with an instruction book that will also describe proper set up and installation had the clients felt it was not correct

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2016/10/03) */
First off I want to Note that this client has posted 3 separate complaints about our company in the last 2 weeks , the first one about the salesmen , the second one about the dealership service, and now this one, If these were issues from Oct of...

last year until June of this year. Why were they not brought up to management at the time of the situations, and why send 3 different statements versus bringing it all to our attention at once ,Second [redacted] has Many years experience setting up people with tow packages and preforms demonstrations several times a week in the busy season, The way this braking system works is you set the brake buddy up on the floor , you hook the bracket to the brake pedal and you move the drivers seat forward to the brake buddy until it makes contact without applying pressure to the brake pedal, every time you set this up you preform a test on the brake buddy to ensure seat location and proper location , clearly the first 2 trips the brake buddy was in the proper location , had it not been you would burn out the brakes on the vehicle on a 30min drive let alone 1 hour or 2 hour drive, Also you have to always check the light on your tow vehicle, had the brake pedal been depressed the brake lights would have been on on the tow vehicle. We could see excepting responsibility for a brake failure the first time the client drove the vehicle home , but not after it was set it up and it worked and certainly not after the client made a second trip and it worked again , [redacted] spent more then the proper time to show this client how this system works and in fact the day he picked up he was told by [redacted] then that he either needed a battery back up system or he needed to stop every 60 mins and start the car to charge the battery, I myself the owner of the business and the salesperson were witness to this discussion. Its very disappointing to hear a client thinks that this situation is at fault of the dealership. We strive very hard for our clients satisfaction and in this situation we feel we have done nothing wrong. Its very clear in the complaint that the brake system did NOT fail on the first couple trips and it sounds like the seat was to far forward putting pressure on the brake pedal causing the failure , its an unfortunate mistake , but of no fault of the dealership, the break buddy came with an instruction book that will also describe proper set up and installation had the clients felt it was not correct
