Wamax Reviews (%countItem)
Woke up this morning checked my bank account and noticed my account was charged in the amount of $346 from Wamax LLC. I had no clue to what this was or who authorized this transaction. Attempted to use that contact information that was associated with the account. It was a cellular phone that couldn't receive voicemails because it was too full and the voice address was of a heavy accent so couldn't understand. The company offers a online chat messenger. I attempted to use that. They requested my account number but I refused to give it. I requested a phone number where I can talk to someone by phone but the response I got was they were busy and wouldn't be able to answer my call. I contacted my bank and started a fraud alert and case because looking on the company's website I never would have purchased office furniture or a bulk of cellphones. This was not a purchase I authorized and I don't allow others to use my information. I have screenshots of the chat conversation if any other information is needed.
Hello ***, All we are asking is details of the charges to help you trace the issue for a refund. I need to let you know, that if you got a charge on your account from us. You should get more charges on your account from other website or Merchant as it seems your credit card was compromised. We don't keep any credit card information in our database as all transaction is being handled by authorize.net and Paypal, One of the most reliable payment gateway out there. You need to note our Representation isn't asking for your account but detailed information of the charge. You can send us an email [email protected] and it will be resolved if the charge is from us.
I am rejecting this response because:
I sent the needed information to the business. I don't like that I had to go through this at all and to this extreme. The practices of this business should be revised and have real contact information posted on its website. I found the representative that chatted with me to be unprofessional. A business should never tell a customer that they are too busy to deal with a matter of any sort.
