Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:it seems the business is playing the time card, to let the guarantee expireIt is wrong that they did not know about the guarantee as on their web page, which is still unchanged, it still states "Gal-Gal Prices includes installation and warranty" (http://www.countrysideaustin.com/tree-and-plant-nursery/).They also still run the "Avid Gardener Club" where you earn 1% of savings "that never expires"Same club, where I am a member, as beforeThe customer has no possibility to see in their own company presentation, that anything in the ownership has changed. They try to give the impression that there is still the same business. As it is not clear, whether the new owners acquired the business at all and under which conditions, I still think they in any case run the identical business with identical warrantiesTherefore it is a lie that they did not know about the warranty as it is still posted on their website Regards, [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:Dear Revdex.com Staff,Thank you for such a wonderful organization. I couldn't figure out how to put my response into the blue text box so I am emailing it to you. I am right at the 6th day of responding. I had been looking for something from the Revdex.com but it took Country Side a long time to respond. I am trying to download some pictures that are on my husband's phone so you can see the job. Hopefully I will get these soonI think this is the best way to understand the workmanship. Again thank you

I am rejecting this response because:I could not find any information on a changed ownership. At the Texas Secretary of State "[redacted] is still an active company. No new company is registered under this name. Therefore, it seems strange to me that the customer should be patient. If the company runs under the same name, just do the warranty and do your business with the "former" owners later.

I am responding to complaint ID [redacted].  I am so sorry that this customer is having to deal with this situation.  We are doing our best to resolve this situation regarding warranty work.  We are in no shape or form wanting to upset or give them the run around.  I know how frustrating it must be and all we can do as the new owner's of Countryside is reassure you we are working on a plan with the previous owner as to how to handle warranty work. Upon this acquisition we did not acquire liabilities, only assets.  We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused and are hoping resolve this as soon as possible.  We greatly value all our customers and will do everything we can to make it right and fair for everyone involved.  We appreciate your patience as we proceed in handling this matter and will not be ignored.  As soon as we have an answer we will be contacting you personally. COUNTRYSIDE NURSERY AND LANDSCAPE13292 POND SPRINGS RD.AUSTIN, TEXAS, 78729To the Revdex.com Corporate Office,Responding to complaint 1D [redacted], we gave the customer an estimate ofexactly what she wanted that spelled out everything we were going to do in herlandscaping. It clearly stated soaker hose...

irrigation system at $200. We did this tofit her budget. Our drip irrigation system starts at $375 per zone and she wouldhave had a minimum 2 zones so it would have cost her at least $750. How shethinks we could have done it for 200 is beyond me. As far as the hook up at thefaucet all she has to do is unscrew one of the hoses and put on what she wants. We matched her rock edging to look like her existing landscape, we still don'tknow what she wants because all she did was say it looked like crap and otherchoice profanity which I will not take from anyone. She received what she askedfor but she must have been expecting something else. We gave her the mulchplus 2 extra plants that were not in the bid. Her husband thought it looked greatwhen we finished. We would like to know what she would like us to do to fix theproblem, but a drip irrigation system was not part of the estimate.Thank You,[redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:it seems the business is playing the time card, to let the guarantee expire. It is wrong that they did not know about the guarantee as on their web page, which is still unchanged, it still states "15 Gal-100 Gal Prices includes installation and warranty" (http://www.countrysideaustin.com/tree-and-plant-nursery/).They also still run the "Avid Gardener Club" where you earn 1% of savings "that never expires". Same club, where I am a member, as before. The customer has no possibility to see in their own company presentation, that anything in the ownership has changed. They try to give the impression that there is still the same business. As it is not clear, whether the new owners acquired the business at all and under which conditions, I still think they in any case run the identical business  with identical warranties. Therefore it is a lie that they did not know about the warranty as it is still posted on their website.

I am responding to the complaint ID [redacted].  We recently acquired [redacted] and have been diligently working to respond to all complaints regarding warranties.  The acquisition that we made to Purchase this company, on May 26, 2017,  was an asset purchase,...

therefore we did not take on any liabilities such as warranties.  We also did not find out about the previous owner's warranty policies until after the closing of the the company.  Since then we have been requesting something in writing as to how the previous owner would like to resolve warranty work.  We recently sought legal counsel as to how to proceed with this issue.  We do not want unhappy or dissatisfied customers and will have a fix or answer to the problem within the next 2 weeks.  In the meantime we are keeping all warranties on file and will resolve this problem as soon as possible.  We value all of our customers, which is why we are working with the previous owner to make it right for all parties.  We request that everyone remain patient until we can get some answers.  Also, if you would please update the owner information on this account as Nolan and Amy Brandt.  We also have a different EIN and I can provide that is necessary.  Thank you.   [redacted]
