Review: I had an issue with a ticket purchase from this company. I purchased 2 tickets for an event that was cancelled in 2012. I bought the tickets on 9/**/12 order# [redacted] amount of $344.74. The tickets were for an event called UR1 Music Festival, which was supposed to be held on 12/*/12 - 12/*/12. The event was cancelled and never rescheduled. Ticket buyers were told that the event was going to be rescheduled, but it never was. We were told by the event producers that we would be receiving refunds if needed, but never heard from them again. I've been patiently waiting, assuming that I would get the refund, but it's been a little over a year now and the chances of me getting a refund are looking very slim to none. Wantickets' refund policy is that if an event is canceled you will receive a refund minus the nonrefundable service charge. I never received a refund. I tried contacting them by sending them few emails, but I never got a response. My credit card company told me that they no longer can help me with this issue because it was for a purchase that I made over a year ago. Now I am trying my last resort by filing a complaint through the Revdex.com. Please help.Desired Settlement: Wantickets.com is responsible to send me a refund according to their return policy. It's been way too long for them to not take action. I've been trying to wait patiently and I've been trying to understand that the event being cancelled wasn't their fault. I can't wait any longer.

Review: on Wednesday, March **, 2014 I purchased tickets for a miami music week event at Story nightclub in south beach. it was for [redacted] on thursday march [redacted] 2014. I purchased a male and female ticket for my girlfriend and I which came out to the total of $152.55. our order number was Order #[redacted]. I was very excited for the event as [redacted] is one of my favorite performers and story night club is my favorite south beach venue. when I had to wait in line even though I had a ticket. after waiting for about 45 mins in line it was mine and my girlfriends turn to get our tickets scanned and be allowed into the venue. to our surprise our tickets would not scan. the person in charge of scanning said that the tickets were not scanning and that I would have to pay the cover at the door which was the same price as the tickets. I was outraged because I was so excited for this event and now I would have to pay double to get in. we were not able to get in to the event as I did not have the funds to pay again for a ticket that I had already purchased from wantickets.com. I contacted wantickets.com the day after and they told me that they would get back to me, they never did. I waited a week and I contacted them again and was told the same story and they never got back to me, now a month after the issue and I am STILL waiting for a reply. I have never had an issue with them but I am highly upset that the tickets did not work and also the way that they handled my issue. it is very poor customer service and I received very little help from them even though it was their product that was defective. all I am asking for is a refund of $152.55 for the tickets that they sold me that would not scan. I think its very disrespectful to charge me for their product that I was not able to use because of a defective barcode. my girlfriend and I were and still are very upset that we were not able to see [redacted] because the barcode on out tickets would not scan.Desired Settlement: all I am asking for is a refund of $152.55 for the tickets that they sold me that would not scan. Review: On December of 2012, a music festival was going to be held in Miami during art basel weekend, which was the UR1 Music festival. Tickets went on sale in September. I purchased mine through the ur1festival website and it led me directly to wantickets.com. The total came out to be $167.37 and the tickets came towards the end of November. A couple of days before the music festival, they had announced that the festival was going to be cancelled due to "weather/hurricane conditions", which was ridiculous because during that time, no hurricanes were going to hit Miami. Ur1 sent out a letter to everyone who had received tickets saying that they would be rescheduling the concert and to whomever purchased the tickets could either hold onto them and use them towards the next festival in order to get in or they could get a refund. They never announced the new dates of the festival and after countless months of waiting, I never got my refund. I sent out plenty of emails to wantickets.com but no one even tried to help me with my issue. All the emails I would send out were pretty much pointless because I never got a response. Wantickets does not have a direct phone number but they do have an email that they apparently "handle all their customer service issues through". I am yet to receive a refund and won't stop until I do. This isn't a $5 ticket, I spent over %150 on a festival that didn't even happened, which makes me feel like I've been scammed.Desired Settlement: I want a refund of my money as soon as possible.

Review: BACK ON 9/**/12 I PURCHASED TICKETS THROUGH WANTICKETS FOR A FESTIVAL CALLED UR1 FESTIVAL WHICH WAS POSPONED IN DECEMBER AND WE WERE SUPPOSE TO BE GIVEN A NEW DATE FOR THE EVENT. I E-MAIL [redacted] AND SHE STATED IN HER E-MAIL WHICH I STILL HAVE ON RECORD THAT I NEEDED TO WAIT FOR THE NEW DATE SOON OR TO GO TO UR1 WEBSITE AND REQUEST THE REFUND WITH THEIR INSTRUCTIONS WHICH WERE NEVER EVEN POSTED OR GIVEN ON HOW TO GET A REFUND. UR1 WAS BEING THROWN BY A COMPANY GO BIG PRODUCTIONS. NO ONE WANTS TO HELP ME WITH MY REFUND A YEAR LATER. THIS IS FRAUD!Desired Settlement: I WANT A FULL REFUND AS THE SERVICES WERE NEVER PROVIDED.

Review: I purchased tickets On Wednesday, March **, 2014 to an event called "Miami Music Week, SLS Hotel Day Time, [redacted] & [redacted] on 3/**/14". When I arrived at the event, I waited in line for over an hour, which I assumed was normal due to the large crowd inside the party at the time. After waiting 30 more minutes I noticed an emergency medical technician inside and asked security why no one was being let in to the event. The doorman responded that the fire marshal was inside the party and it was too crowded. They needed over 100 guests to leave the event before anyone would be let in, regardless of possessing a ticket. After waiting for another 15 minutes, security stated that no one else would be let in to the event. I can only assume all permits obtained for the event required compliance with all fire codes with the number of tickets sold and the overflow of people resulted from extra sales at the door/event.

This was a huge disappointment due to paying $95.00 for the ticket and $14.01 for a [redacted] charge. I contacted Wantickets for the first time on April **2014, via e-mail requesting a full refund since my ticket was pre-purchased and not honored at this event. On April **2014, [redacted], [redacted] contacted me back via e-mail stating Wantickets had e-mailed the promoters of the event with my complaint and they are the only ones that can authorize a refund. She hoped to hear back from them and would let me know when they did.

After not hearing a response from [redacted], I e-mailed her a second time, on April **2014, requesting the promoters' contact information so I could contact them directly, since I had yet to hear a response from [redacted], Wantickets, or the promoters.

Currently, I still have yet to be contacted by Wantickets, [redacted], or the promoters of the event.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund totaling $109.01 ($95.00 for the ticket and $14.01 for the [redacted] charge). My admission into the event was refused regardless of possessing a ticket.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.

Sincerely,

Terrible customer service. I bought physical tickets so I wouldn't have to wait in the will call line and a week before the event they send me an email saying they moved me to will call. Nothing I can do about it! Then they canceled the event and told me I could get a refund but not on the service charge. I had to call my credit card company and tell them to issue a charge back.
