response to the complaint for Product Issues filed with the Revdex.com and submitted to Findlay Volkswagen Flagstaff:We have reviewed the complaint and determined the issue to be outside the scope of any mechanism possible from the dealership. The customer having contacted Volkswagen Group of America, received an offer of assistance and responded with a declination indicating that they will seek legal remedies available, leaves no further mechanism for the dealership to address this issue."
Volkswagen of America offered us a 10% discount off of MSRP if we were to trade in our almost new vehicle for a new Volkswagen. With the issue we have had with this Volkswagen we do not want to purchase another Volkswagen with the possibility of having the same issue. I then asked VW of America about the possiblity of a lemon buyback, they reviewed it and declined a buyback, this is when they offered the 10% discount. I never spoke of seeking a lawyer, or any other legal remedies. I moved on to a complaint here with the Revdex.com. I would like to know if the management team was able to meet and come up with any other options? Thank you,[redacted]
