I placed an order on 03/15/for a cost of $ Wares Direct charged my company credit card immediately for the order As of 01/23/17, I still have not received this order and cannot get an explanation or ETA for delivery

The most horrible buying experience everI received wrong item and simply tried to let them aware of their error and either get the refund or get the replacementdays of emails and phone calls (it's funny how their recording states "welcome to wares direct where real people answers the telephones"-pure joke) and nothingLeft at least messages with my phone number- nothingJust pure disrespectThank God I paid through pay pal so I will dispute the charge but man, what a jokeI should read their 99% negative reviews soonerMy bad

Waresdirect took the order and money but never informed me that they do not have enough qty to support
Tried calling them both XXX XXX XXXX and XXX XXX XXXX tel nos but goes to voicemailLeft several voicemail messages and emails but NO ANSWER
They work like small drop ship type company from a garage, CAN'T BE TRUSTED!
JUST STAY AWAY!!!!

I work for a school district and placed an order for School Board Record Books on January 12th, I received a confirmation email within hours stating that orders are usually processed and mailed within days and if an order cannot be filled in days, I will be notified On January 24th, when I realized I had not received any kind of notification of the status of our order, I used the link from their confirmation email to check the status of our order At that time, our account was marked "In process" but I went ahead and sent an email asking for the the status of our order and I also stated that if our order was not available to please issue a credit as our district credit card had already been charged I also called the number provided on the website only to discover that it is an automated system that requires you to leave a name and number, promising to return your call with one business day so I went ahead and left a name, number and brief message On January 27th, 2017, I checked the status of our order on their website but this time it marked "Cancelled" which was puzzling since I had not cancelled our order but I did ask in the previous email that if the product was not available we would like a credit issued; however, I would have assumed I should have received some type of notification with an explanation So I emailed and called and left a message once again asking for a confirmation of my messages and an explanation about our order and most definitely asking that a credit be issued to our district credit card because we have received nothing; however they were quick to charge our credit card Our business manager will be calling our credit card company to get this charged taken off but just a little a bit of common courtesy and business sense on their end could have prevented such a horrible experience Had I read the reviews first, I would have never placed an order with this company I hope my bad experience will deter this from happening to someone else

It appears that my latest experience is very popular. I placed an order online on January 10, 2016, and my credit card was charged on that day. I have sent multiple emails and voice mails and have never received a response. They state on their voice mail that someone would be in contact within a 24 hour period. I have done business with this company since 2010 and have not ever experienced with problem. I have told them by phone and email that I will be disputing the charge with my bank and will NEVER purchase from them again.

I ordered 200 notepads yesterday and received All of them 24 hours later. I'm not kidding, 24 hours later. I've never worked with a company that fast. Notepads are perfect too. I'm taking them to Ethiopia for mission work. Very impressed with this company today.

Wares Direct CEO sent a very unprofessional email rebuttal stating that I had attacked her staff just because I filed a complaint against them for using 'canned' email replies. She stated they reply to thousands of customers daily and it's an industry standard to use pre-approved emails. I simply wanted tracking for an order that I placed 3 days earlier. Her language and use of poorly chosen responses escalated my frustration to the point that I asked her not to contact me again. She then sent her one final reply stating that it was fine for me to never contact her again and that I would be blacklisted with her company! How rude and childish of a CEO to react to a paying customer in such a manner!

Sent different product than advertised then gave me a hard time when inquiring about mistake on their website.

I placed an order for paint with Wares Direct on October 21. They charged my credit card ofr $243.01 on October 22.
On November 1 I inquired when the order was going to ship and was told it was a special order they could give no date. I therefore requested that the cancel the order and refund my money.
On November 9 they e-mailed me to tell me that they could not fulfill the order and would refund my money.
On November 25 and again on December 12 I asked when I would receive the credit to my Visa.
The credit came through yesterday, December 13.
I note that the FTC requires a refund after thirty days and that most businesses do not charge the credit card until shipment, but in any case, waiting more than a month to refund customer money when you cannot fill an order is ridiculous.

I also note that http://www.waresdirect.com/ claims that they have an A+ rating from the Revdex.com. Since it says here that the rating is actually A, the Web site is incorrect. I also fail to understand how an organization with the level of problems shown here has even an A rating. Many e-Bay sellers with thousands of transactions have never had a complaint.

I ordered an item on Nov. 11, 2016 for a Christmas gift. I emailed them once to check the order status and was informed it was a special order item. If I had know that in advance I would not have ordered. As of today (11-30-2016) I cannot get them to answer a phone call nor an email. They have my $60.00 and I have Nothing! The item I ordered is not even on their website anymore. I would think long and hard before ordering anything from these people! Buyer Beware!

Terrible customer service and communication! I own my own business and order a lot of products online to keep my business going. This was by far one of the more disappointing online purchases I have made in a long time.
After placing my order I waited several days for a shipping notification from Wares Direct and never got one. I went to their order management section and wrote a request asking for an update on when my products would ship. I got what seemed like an automated response which contained no answer to my question and thanked me for my patience. After waiting another day I requested to cancel the order (at that time the order status was still in process). This time I received no response. I checked for the next four days and the status then changed to shipped. Still no response and also no shipping confirmation. I again sent another request for communication and have yet to receive a reply (one week later). Their website states they will respond to messages within 24 hours.
I debated on returning the items but their return policy is terrible as well. I will have to pay for return shipping, plus eat the original shipping, and would only receive a credit to be used on a future purchase from them.
Bottom line, terrible customer service and communication. I will not be doing business with them again!
