we received a work order from a warranty company for this customer on a single stoppage. I arrived at the home on jan 11th and found an that per the grandson and grandmother that when you ran the kitchen tub or bathroom sink that it all backed up into the bathtub. issue. I found that these items were all tied in together. The kitchen line was snaked carefully and the stoppage for all items was cleared. I tested this by running water in all the fixtures. There were no other issues at that time. I then filled up the washing machine twice to test the undersized laundry line. It is one and a quarter inch line and per code is supposed to be 2in. The warranty does not cover upgrades or pre existing issues. I was never asked to look at the bathroom sink. I received a call a while after I had left from a lady who was not at the home at the time of service saying they were now having issues with the sink drain itself. The work we did would not affect this. There was debris in the tub , my guess is it may have gotten in the sink after I left from them rinsing things off in the sink I don't know. I do know there was not an issue with it while I was there. I gave some recommendations and she called back saying they didn't work and she could see something in the sink drain after removing the mismatched stopper someone had installed. I advised she would have to place another work order on this item and she became argumentative, at that point I ended the conversation by advising the customer to call her warranty and ask for a different provider. I don't understand the in a hurry part as the person making this complaint was not even home as well as if I was in a hurry how would I have had time to take apart a drain tarp everything off then clean up test as well as fill up the washing machine twice!!!!!! We were paid 75.00 for clearing a single stoppage. I tried to explain to the customer how the warranty works as well as the fact that separate items can have separate issues non related to previous work but she wanted to bully me into doing free work sorry!!!!Tell us why here...
