Warren Restoration did not fixed my late mother house the way it was told it should had been as promised then got a lien on house.
At the end of January of this year my late mother, who passed away on the 28th of July, has a small stove fire. I reach out to Warren to fix the house. After they cleaned up the house the house it took another month to get them to come back to start building the house after many phone calls. mean while my 80 yr old mother with health problems sat in a motel.

When they took everything out of the kitchen, the kitchen sink was sitting outside for months and when I ask about it they said a brand new sink was going in with new faucets would be put in but what happen was they put in the old sink and with the faucet by which time must rusted up or broke because all the rain we got, They broke the storm door twice during this period, the last time it was hanging bv one screw. When I said something about it they just blow it off.

After they moved things back in me and my aunt started see things were missing like $600 Dyson vacuum cleaner, a 32 iinch tv, antique table which was my grandmothers, picture that was in a picture frame of my late sister broken and that is not counting the pictures that was found in the trash, my mothers powered wheelchair that was put outside a got ruit.

My mother only got to enjoy the house when it was done for one week before she had to go to a nursing home until she passed away. Could have been there long but Warren took a month off between cleaning and restoring. When I called about when they was going to start the lady in the billing department made it out it was my mother doing because she has not paid them yet and I told them we did not receive the checks from the insurance company yet.

I gave them ever dollar they ask for and about a month after the job was done I got a phone call say $1500 was still owned by which time my mother was in a nursing home and I was trying to get help for her medical bills through DSS here in Swain County and was told not to remove any money for her account. I tried to tell the lady this but all she could say it was *** money and at the end she said if I found out anything to let her know. About two weeks later they but a lien of my mother house.

Warren left their storage pod in the drive way for over a month. I called them about it and they said they would come and get it and I made it clear I wanted a phone call they was coming to get it because my two daughters were staying there. The next day no phone call and they sent a rude person to get it who demanded my 14 yr to move my mothers car not once but twice then pushed she out to the way to get to the front door before her, beat on the door and was peeking in the windows.

I have sent two emails to them to resolve this but they do not email back.
/
they did give $500 off that $1500 for the vacuum cleaner.

Desired Outcome

1 fix the storm door 2 remove the lien on the house for the items that went missing or ruined. The the powered wheel chair was over $2000, the Dyson Vacuum was $600 which I bought my mother for her birthday in 2019, $130 for the 32 inch TV, and my grandmother table which is a family hairloom.

Warren Restoration gives our condolences for the passing *** your mother.
We are sorry that you feel the length of time between the cleaning and repairs took so long but we had to reach an agreement with the insurance carrier prior to beginning any repair work on the home. During the cleaning portion of the loss there were several family members that came by the home to collect items so Warren Restoration was not the only people with access to the home.
Unfortunately, The insurance company did not agree to pay for replacement of the kitchen sink or faucet. Only to detach and reset. Also, the kitchen sink and faucet were installed by a plumber and in working order upon completion of their project.
We do apologize for the actions of the delivery driver of the mini storage company and have since reached out to them to resolve the issues. If there is no satisfactory resolution then we will no longer use them as a vendor/subcontractor.

I had a flood in my basement on 03/19/2020. My insurance company handled the claim. In the process of completing flood care, Warren Restoration damaged an electric socket outside of my front porch and they broke the window in the basement. Project Manager Ian E came out and verified both items and promised a new window and electric socket repair. Due to broken window, moisture built up again and company had to dry out basement all over again for a second time.

Desired Outcome

Finish Repairs. I have patiently waited for 5 months. I have muscular distrophy which has painful, unpredictable flairs. On the date of my scheduled repairs in early July, I had a painful flare and called company to reschedule. I recently called back recently and was told due to me cancelling they do not know when they could re-schedule my repairs and that I would have to wait and that it could be months. I am left with a broken window which is exposing the basement to moisture and damage all over again. I feel I am being mistreated due to my disability and age. Horrible customer service.

We went out and completed our portion of the job months back as promised. At some point her widow was broken from the outside, which we can not guarantee was our fault. However, we took Ownership since we were recently in the home. We tried to schedule our repair guy to go out there and fix it on multiple occasions. The client canceled our services due to a flare up with her Muscular Dystrophy so we politely informed her we would reschedule as soon as our repair guy was done working another job. Ms. did not like that answer so she chose to write to the Revdex.com. Either way, the job was completed as of this week and this case should be closed.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The company claims they tried multiple times to complete the repairs. That is an outright lie. We had only one appt in about a 5 month period.
The job is still not completed as they stated. There is still a need for a dehumidifier, for the third time, because of the moisture from the broken window.

Warren Restoration Response • Aug 06, 2020

Once again, we did not break the window. However, we fixed it at no additional charge. We have gone above and beyond, and have been extremely respectful of the client's cancellations of our crew multiple times due to COVID-19 and her flare ups with muscular dystrophy. The dehu has been set in place since yesterday and will be picked up soon. This job is complete.

Warren Restoration restored major water damage to inside of my house at***. One bill hasn't been paid.
Water damage included removing the ceiling in basement garage and installing 2 garage openers that were water damaged. A person at Warren Restoration called to have Asheville Garage Doo charge their original bill for 2 openers to a bill for 1 opener. They insisted that the company, Asheville Garage Door LLC, bill us directly for the 2nd door (See the note on the bills that state the billing change.) We discussed this with *** Restoration pointing out that the bill from Asheville Garage Door indicated that both garage openers were water damaged. Before I signed to release the final insurance check, I asked a financial person if they had paid Asheville Garage Door for both doors. The answer was "yes." I was settling our claim with a clerk so I do not know what she knew or if she was instructed to tell me "yes, the bill for both doors had been paid."
re. Asheville Garage Door bill. Asheville Garage Door was very patient. They understood why we did not pay the bill for 1 door. Now I assume that Warren Restoration is still refusing to pay for the 2nd door because we have been sent a notice and bill from Transworld Systems Inc.
It is difficult to understand their non payment since Warren Restoration took down the whole ceiling in the garage. Why would they do that if all the ceiling wasn't damaged? And both openers were working before the water damage incident. Asheville Garage Door told us that both garage door openers were damaged. In fact the bill indicated that the 2nd door was water damaged. I hope the Revdex.com can insist that Warren Restoration pay Asheville Garage Door for the 2nd door.

Desired Outcome

I want Warren Restoration to pay Asheville Garage Door $400 for the water damaged second garage door opener . They were supposed to take care of all expenses except my deductible. When the water damage occurred, both garage door openers were working! Warren Restoration called Asheville Garage after they were billed for both garage doors and told took both garage door openers and the ceiling of the garage down. They instructed Asheville Garage Door LLC to CHANGE their bill and send the second bill for a garage opener to us.

We are sorry to hear that Ms. had such a difficult time submitting this invoice for reimbursement to her insurance company. We requested that she do so on multiple occasions prior to them closing out her claim. Unfortunately, her insurance company did not pay us for this item, which is why we continued to request that she worked it out directly with them.
It was our understanding that only one motor was broken per the Garage Door Company so that is what we submitted to her insurance. We were then informed after the fact that the client chose to replace the second motor so she could have them both on the same remote. This is why she received the 2nd invoice from the Garage Door Company. Either way, if Ms. would have reached out to her insurance company in a timely manner per our recommendation then it is very possible they would have already reimbursed her.
