Review: I took my car(which had a loud knocking noise) to warrens automotive with an aftermarket warranty my warranty asked for a complete diagnoses of the car, he said he did and determined the noise was from some bad timing chains, in which case he told my warranty company and they said go ahead and fix it, after he fixed the timing chains he gave me my car back I drove it out of the parking lot and it made the same knocking noise, we later had it towed back to warren to re-service it, after 5 months of calling him and talking with him and him always saying oh yeah it will be 2 weeks to finish or making some kind of excuse on why he couldn't work on it, I called my warranty company and told me he had not contacted them in 4 months so they assumed it worked itself out and put the file in inactive, while on the contrary, he re diagnosed the engine saying I needed a new engine, so he contacted my warranty company and they told him that they would send an engine but he had to pay the labor to put it in due to him miss diagnosing the engine problems, in which he called me and lied trying to say I had to pay the labor costs out of pocket, which sounded fishy to me so I called the warranty company and they told me that he in fact had to pay the labor cost due to the miss diagnoses, so I called him and he is now refusing to pay the labor cost to have his shop put the new engine in and is also refusing to pay another shop to put the engine in and has repeatedly told me "i will not work on your car for free or pay someone else to do it, I dont care what the warranty company says" thus resulting in me needing to now jump through hoops and file complaints just to get my car fixedDesired Settlement: id like for him (although I dont trust him to fix it) to fix my car per my warranty company's request or pay another shop to do the repairs
