Dear Ms. [redacted]:My wife and I just received your letter datedSeptember 4, 2015.Ms. [redacted] does indeed have a legitimate complaint, but it is not with Warsaw Rental Center - rather itis with [redacted].On 08/28 WRC ran an "authorization only" in theamount of $500 as a deposit.  This puts a hold...

Review: My husband and I rented a skid steer off of Warsaw rental center on 08/28/2015. Our total for using it for only 5hrs was 391.25. We did not know the total til the next day when we read the owners our time for the machine so that would be 08/29/2015. On my bank statement it said they had already charged my card $500.00 and on top of the $500 the $391.25. Both in separate transactions so they had swiped my card twice. So they are now sitting there with my $500 and saying its the banks fault. He had told me when he came for the skid steer the next day he only hit my credit card to make sure there was $500 on it in case we damaged his machine and that it did not take anything off my card that came out of his mouth. Then when I call them on 09/03/2015 to ask about the extra $500 they took they told me that my bank all ways does this that they are not suppose to accept my bank ok then why when you came to my house why did we not get a warning when we handed you over that same bank card that you knew has gave you problems in the past? Im sure they were hoping I never check my bank statements so they could have easily kept that $500 oh no I pay close attention when it comes to messing with something of mine. Warsaw Rental is the one that swiped my card not the bank so they charged me $891.25 and will not refund us our money back saying its the banks fault. Something is seeming a little fishy on their side they had said this has happened numerous times they are the one swiping the card and hitting numbers on their end not the bank. They are unwilling to refund me so I have to take matters into my own hands and cancel credit cards file a complaint with the bank just to get my money back from them. What a pain in the butt a refund would have saved me all this time but they are un willing to do anything about it. Would not recommend that company to anybody she is RUDE he is the nice one.Desired Settlement: I do not ever want nothing to do with that company again I will go else where with my business.

Response:

I have reviewed the offer and/or response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

This has nothing to do with [redacted]. Warsaw ran my credit card not [redacted] and put a authorization on my credit card which they did not release. Warsaw got the complaint days later and finally released the money back into my account if I never wentt through Revdex.com they would have never refunded me my money. [redacted] has nothing to do with the way merchants put money on credit cards. Thanks Revdex.com for helping me out as they said this is not the first time maybe after the second time they would have fixed they way they do the credit cards.
