Wasatch Moving Company Reviews (%countItem)

They did an awesome job moving me today. I want to thank Brenna for helping me coordinate my move. The crew Caleb, Jerry, and Taylor were great! They were fun and hard workers. They went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. I highly recommend this company.

This company is great. Owner and managers are great and movers are very hard working! I would recommend anyone to move with Wasatch!

I used Wasatch Moving Company for my move and I’m so glad I did! They didn’t charge any of those “hidden” fees that I saw on previous moves with other moving companies. They did what they said they’d do, the crew worked hard the whole time, and the customer service was awesome. I’ll be using this company in all my future moves.

We tried to move today. We decided to hire for this move because my husband is recovering from hospitalization for Covid a month ago. The movers showed up with no gloves, no masks, and fresh from a trip to Maverick (they called to let us know that they were stopping first for drinks) Then they refused to do the move because they were scared that my husband might infect them.
After a phone call to who I assume was their supervisor, they began the move with only one member of the two person team actually moving anything. Then they stopped after moving 7 boxes and no communication. They refused to do the move and they lied about my dad (who was wearing a mask)coughing while they were near us in order to get out of it.
This company has all kinds of "Covid Precautions " listed on their website- None of which we experienced or were even informed of. Again, they showed up with no masks and no gloves but fresh from a stop at the Maverick and then LIED ABOUT A 67 YEAR OLD MAN COUGHING.
When I called the same supervisor and told them about our terrible experience, the sup refused to answer about why his hyper-sensitive team weren't masked and gloved, but did say a mask doesn't really help stop infection anyway.
DON'T HIRE THESE PEOPLE. Completely unprofessional and obviously lying about their intentions during Covid 19.

Imagine a moving company leaving with your personal belongings in their truck, and taking over a week to attempt to drop them back off at your home. That's the experience you can expect with Wasatch Moving Company. I kept asking this company to drop off my belongings they left with in their truck, and for days the mover said he'd drop them off.

Careful with this place. The mover's boss (Trevin) never showed up at my home with my belongings. I guess they're just gone now.

Hello Zack, Occasionally small items will get left in the trucks on accident, such it the case here. However, I'm quite surprised to see this hasty of a review., especially since your TV mount bars have been returned to you already. The reason for the delay in getting them back to you, as we explain earlier with our back and forth dialogue through email and text. We were waiting for a response from you to confirm the address you wanted them delivered to. You were unresponsive for approx. 3 days. Once we got the confirmation, your TV bars were delivered to you the next day. We apologize for the inconvenient and the stress this must have caused you.

Broke furniture charged double. Left huge poop in bathroom then barricaded door.

Excellent professional service. The movers really have compassion toward your belongings.

This company damaged furniture and housewares during my recent move and have failed to address the issue. Their customer service is awful. I have repeatedly emailed and called regarding my claim and have been promised it would be handled. 60 days later and still NOTHING has been done to resolve this issue.

First, this company significantly under quoted my move,by almost $400. I paid for an additional man to ensure the move would be done on time. It took them over 5 hours to move a minimally furnished 3 bedroom apartment when the quote was for 2 men and 3 hours, with a 3rd guy guaranteeing it would be done in that time frame.

Furniture was damaged. Boxes dropped. Dish boxes stacked on their sides with multiple boxes then stacked on top. I filed a claim within a few days and sent pictures. I was promised a call, then an email, then an email when they resent the claim form, then this and that. I have not received any of it. There has been no follow through on their part.

Wasatch Moving had NO PROBLEM charging my card the minute their guys were done cleaning out the truck, counting blankets (which my son and I folded and stacked) and bands multiple times (time I had to pay for) but they have not shown any integrity when it comes to settling the damage they caused. They have made one empty promise after another.

I would never recommend this company to anyone. There is not excuse for their behavior. They are not honest and do not follow through. They are eager to take your money, but have no intention of paying for their mistakes. They just hope you get tired of playing phone/email tag and go away.

Mrs.,

Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention, our customer satisfaction is important to us. Please let me address your concerns. To begin, we do not offer guaranteed pricing for local moves. Especially when the estimate was given over the phone. If you refer to your estimate you will see our pricing explained. For all local moves, we bill at an hourly rate. That hourly rate is based on the appropriate recommendation of resources from the sales person. These resources are determined by how the questions are answered during the sales call. There are many factors that can determine how long a move takes ie. amount of inventory, stairs, walking distance, type of furniture, customer preparedness, amount of furniture to be disassemble and reassemble and so on. Many of the variables beyond our control. Our estimates can only be as accurate as the information provided to us. The role of the sale person is to determine the appropriate amount of resources to get the job done for our clients. The final cost is never guaranteed for local moves. The extra man was added to you move not as a cost saver but simply a time saver. By adding the additional man, it did not increase your final cost, we simply bill per hour per man. The hourly rate was higher, but they were able to get the job done faster than a 2 man crew would have be able. Either scenario, your final cost would have been similar. As for your concern for the charged to put back the trucks, this is true with all of or moves. The truck is to be returned to or shop in the same condition it left. It is the responsibility of the crew to inventory all the equipment and materials that where sent out on the job as to ensure that nothing is left at the job site. This is important to the crew because they are held financially responsible if any of these items go missing. So you are in fact correct, we did clean up the truck and put it back the way it was when it arrived at your home that morning.

I see that a claim form was sent to you on June 14th at 10:48 am, and again on June 30 7:45 am. Neither of these forms were ever submitted, as a result the claim was never filed. This would explain why your were not contacted by a representative from our company. If you would like to proceed with the claim, we are happy to work with you on that. Please submit the claim form that was sent to you previously. At that point, you can expect a representative to reach out and schedule a time with you to get that resolved.

This is a great company! I researched movers on the internet and especially on the Revdex.com.org site. They live up to their A+ rating. They were very easy to deal with. We needed our furniture loaded into a pod, so they arrived on time and Matt and Javier went right to work. They were fast and courteous, and the packing was a work of art when they were through. I feel like our belongings will be arriving in excellent condition at our new home. I highly recommend using this company for any type of move.
