Wash - N - Shine Reviews (3)
Review: This complaint is in regard to the LaGrange, KY Kroger location and was not listed as a selection. The phone number of the car wash is 502-895-3402 as posted on the building.
On October 26th 2014 I had taken my wife's 2010 Infiniti G37 sedan through the Wash n Shine car wash located at the LaGrange, KY Kroger gas station. Car wash did a wonderful job. On the same day at a later hour I decided to run my 2013 Volkswagen CC through since I was so pleased with the results from earlier in the day. Upon entering the wheel guide to pull up to the car wash (this is a wash system that you line up your wheel and it pulls your car through) I immediately hear a scraping sound and rubbing coming though the steering wheel. I stop and get out to see what has happened. It appears that my car's FACTORY wheels (18") are too low profile and too wide to enter the wash. I had no other choice other than to back out again scraping the wheel. Only half of the rim is damaged. I have been in contact with the car wash since then and until today. I have called at least 10 different times. I was finally able to meet with someone to look at the car after him reviewing the security camera's. This took at least 3 weeks and multiple phone calls. I have called repeatedly and left voice messages spoke with "[redacted]" many times and assured that "[redacted]" would be back in contact with me to get the matter resolved. After 3 months of fighting with them and never calling me back I believe it is time to let Revdex.com handle this.Desired Settlement: I would like to have my rim replaced. Cost estimate from [redacted] Volkswagen is $700 plus mount and balance of the existing tire. The damaged wheel is the front drivers wheel.
Review: My 2009 Chevy Tahoe was damaged in the Wash N Shine car wash in Sellersburg, IN. The center hub caps on my 2 front wheels were both destroyed in this car wash. I actually had to come back and enter the car wash to get the damaged pieces out. ALL was shown on their business cameras. However, after 3 WEEKS of leaving messages and trying to notify the owners of the car wash, they were very aggressive and showed ZERO remorse for the damage. They were ULTRA non-professional and should NOT be in business.Desired Settlement: 2 front wheel hub caps for Dale Earnhardt Jr. racing rims or just a phone call back explaining their non-professionalism and acknowledgement of their faulty equipment.
Review: To whom it may concernOn August 21 I ran my 2007 Ion Saturn through the car wash.It broke The passanger side mirrow.Called the the 1800 no on the building that it said to call if you had a problem.Explained to the operator what had happen . She said she was sorry, and for me to get two estimates, they would look at a video and get back to me.Waited a week and no one called. After many phone calls an operator told me [redacted] would get in touch but never called me back. Later got back with the operator she told me to mail the estimates to them .Sept 6th [redacted] called told him what had happen to my mirrow, said he would look at the video and get back with me.Sept 13th met with [redacted] at the car wash at his request to look at the mirrow. After seeing the damage he wanted to look at the video again and get back with me in two or three days. It is now Sept 22 and no call back.I would like them to take responsibility and get my mirrow replaced.Desired Settlement: Would like Wash-N-Shine to replace my broken passenger side mirrow.I Have two estimates.
