Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:the this letter is a repetition of previous statements summing up to Zam Automotive's failure to appropriately produce proof of any diagnostic test performedIf they truly are 'experts' in transmission repair as they advertise their business to be, the test-driver should have been able to 'diagnose' that my car has transmission problem which was subsequently diagnosed by a real transmission mechanic at another shop I've consulted abiyt my carAltogether, I've been completely dissatisfied with Zam's Automotive-personnels' unprofessional demeanor, and I have determined their sort of work isn't worth a dime--I personally have worked on my car and it does not take what [redacted] claims--a diagnostic test --to see and know there's a blown-out hose that just needs to be replaced--this job does NOT take long to do--and no 'diagnostic' test requiredIt has been proven---no diagnostic test, no test-printout--no proof to deliver to customer--the $diagnostic test is an invalid charge AND nonpayable, and worst is my question--is this transaction legal for businesses in Corpus Christi , TX? To whom it may concern, This is in regard to the complaint filed through the Revdex.com. [redacted] called and requested repairs for a coolant leak. This was near close of business 2/10/2016 and I personally stayed after hours for her and her grand son to arrive to better accommodate...

them. At no time did she tell me that her heater hose had a leak rather she told me she had a leak. She was insistent on using a specific mechanic for the job that is employed here that she had used in the past while employed elsewhere. The next day we performed a diagnostic to determine the point of failure using the mechanic she requested. We proceeded to diagnose the vehicle by doing a pressure test of the coolant system and then locate the leak. This is the diagnostic in question and will cost $85.00 to perform on any vehicle. We found that there was a ruptured heater hose and needed to be replaced to continue diagnostic. We replaced the hose and preformed another pressure test to make sure there were no additional leaks. Then as part of the diagnostic we removed unnecessary air from the cooling system and drove it at highway speeds to ensure there was no overheating, at the time there were no drivability issues As a precaution we check all fluids and found that everything was where it needed to be. We corrected the complaint she then paid and picked up the vehicle on 2/11/2016. [redacted] returned to Zam Automotive on 2/19/2016 upset and wanted a complete diagnostic print out. When we perform a computer diagnostic we can provide a print out but unfortunately the coolant system is not connected to the computer system and is unable to communicate nor include any codes for a print out. [redacted] explained to her that the diagnostic was for the cooling system and the cooling system only, if she has an issue with her heater hose or cooling system she needs to contact us regarding that issue but, for issues other that what she requested will be $85.00 for that diagnostic and would need to call to set up an appointment. Thanks for your time reading this should you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me. [redacted]
