Liar and cheats! Sold me a dryer that doesn't work. Then they vanished. Won't return phone calls or texts. Even had the nerve to sell me an extended warranty that they knew they wouldn't be around to honor.

Review: I contacted this company looking for a fridge for a new apartment. I was sent a few pictures along with quick brand name descriptions of each. I choose the one that was a 2009 GE, we discussed a price, and I was told it would be delivered to my apartment. The fridge that showed up to my apartment looked similar to the fridge discussed, but much older, and scratched up. Two guys delivered it, then 1 guy went back to his truck while the other guy took care of the billing. I tried to tell him I was not happy with this fridge it was not as it was pictured. Because of the language barrier he did not understand and asked if he could have his boss, from the truck, talk to me. I told him ok, at this point he had my money in his hand. When he walked out the front door, I inspected the fridge further and realized this was not the fridge from the picture that I agreed to buy. It is actually an 2002 Whirlpool.When they did not come back from the truck, I called the guy I had been in contact with. He told me he switched out the fridge because I had mentioned that I wanted a rack in the freezer. I told him I was not happy and wanted the fridge I agreed to buy. 3 days and multiple unanswered txt messages / voice mails later, I decided I did not want him to bring the fridge, I just wanted him to take the fridge in my house (which wobbles, is loud, dirty, and much older than I would buy) and give me my money back. He insisted he doesn't do refunds. I tried to tell him I never got the product I paid for, and what happened was a bait and switch. He turned very aggressive and informed me I could sue him if I'd like, but nothing would happen and I will never get my money back. I am very disappointed in the way this company runs its business.Desired Settlement: I want the $210 that I paid for the 2009 GE and did not receive.

My husband and I just moved into a new home with our two babies (ages 1 and 2). What goes well with a new home? New appliances! We came across "TGQ"and in trying to save a few dollars, we decided to go ahead and purchase some of our appliances here. The price on the refrigerator was low, so I jumped on it! (I think I paid $380) Fast-forward four days later to "installation" day (or lack there-of). The water line wasn't hooked up properly, which led to the fridge leaking water ALL NIGHT. This water eventually worked its way through the kitchen wall and completely FLOODED half of the living room carpet. In the days it took them to come back to fix the problem they had left, we had already repaired the leak ourselves but were still left with the damages.

In addition to the AMAZINGINGLY HORRIBLE installation job they did, in less than a week I found out the interior of the fridge was crawling with COCKROACHES!!!! EWWWW! But hey, since we were still well within the 90 day warranty they had offered to replace it (probably with another bug infested refrigerator) UMM no thanks, I will PASS.

"Why not get a refund?" GREAT IDEA!!

The icing on this cockroach-infested cake was when my husband called in to inquire about a refund, they told him he was an "incompetent refrigerator buyer" and offered us a whopping $15 for our refund!! I guess I should have expected that, seeing how it IS a SHADY CASH ONLY WAREHOUSE in Garden Grove.

Needless to say this has been a NIGHTMARE for us. If only we had gone to Home Depot in the first place. Not only did this refrigerator leave us with a BIG HOLE in our wallet and kitchen wall, it also left us with some unwanted critters in our new home. We have had our house sprayed TWICE now, and are praying that the dirty little bugs are gone for good. In closing, DO NOT PURCHASE FROM HERE. Lesson learned!

Review: Purchased refrigerator/freezer for $400 on June 13, 2015. Written receipt included 90 day warranty. Business claimed all appliances were in good and working condition. Total cost with tax and delivery $459. Unit failed. Business replaced refrigerator July 21, 2015. Unit failed. Business replaced refrigerator August 6, 2015. Unit failed. Business replaced refrigerator August 13, 2015. Unit failed. Business notified on August 31, 2015 of fourth failure. Response was we no longer service refrigerators, and I should pursue legal action against business (they literally told me to take it to court).Desired Settlement: Due to the fact I need to have cold food I have invested another $260.81 to fix the fourth unit delivered. Two outcomes are desired, either 1) Full refund of refrigerator and reimbursement of repair for $719.81. Business may take back the now working refrigerator, or 2) Reimbursement of repair cost for $260.81. In this case I keep the refrigerator.

Review: This complaint is in regards to a refrigerator purchased from TGQ on 2/2/14, and our issues with the company subsequently thereafter. When purchasing the fridge, it came with 3-month warranty for repair and/or replacement if there were any issues with the appliance. Well, right before the warranty was set to expire, the fridge just stopped working. We called TGQ to report the issue several times before we were able to reach someone. Initially, they told us that this was a common problem, and that the fridge just needed to be reset (turning the dial back to 0, and then up one every hour). That still did not work, so we called back, and they promised to send someone out the next day (5/2/14) to look at and repair the fridge. Well, that is not what happened. Instead, two people (who did not speak any English) showed up late in the afternoon with a different refrigerator, took the one we were having issues with and left. No explanation, no assessment of the fridge, nothing. So, a couple days later (we both had to go out of town that weekend) my roommate called the TGQ to inquire about the warranty and whether it could be extended for the "new" fridge, which we didn't even ask for. The guy told her that we'd have to purchase another one for $90. I called the next day, hoping to speak to the manager but was told he was unavailable. Instead, I get one of the rudest representatives I have ever had the displeasure of talking to, who berated me over the phone when I pointed out how shady TGQ's business practices were. He told me we were stuck with this fridge, and it wasn't their problem. He also noted that they have never had issues with their refrigerators and that we were just being a nuisance. Well, clearly he's never read TGQ's yelp reviews! Not only that, but it hasn't even been a week since we got the replacement refrigerator, and it HAS ALREADY STOPPED WORKING! TGQ is clearly aware that their appliances aren't going to last past the warranty, and are just pocketing money.Desired Settlement: Though the warranty states that no refunds are issued, I am of the opinion that TGQ did not hold up their end of the agreement which is to repair the fridge as promised, if any issues arose. Instead, we received 2 lemons in 3-months, and terrible customer service. We are seeking a replacement with a guaranteed warranty or the money we spent ($260) so that we can take our business elsewhere.

Review: I purchased a refrigerator and within 3 days it quit working. I called and they said they would give me a loaner take the one I purchased back and fix it. 10 days later, and 3 unanswered calls, I finally talked to someone ([redacted]) who informed me that the loaner was my replacement. When I expressed to him that the loaner was not what I purchased ( a full sized refrigerator, with all the shelves) I was then referred to [redacted]. [redacted] told me to give him a few days to make sure they had a replacement. 5 days later he informed me that he would send me a refrigerator that met my needs. This was on Friday and on Sunday he sent me exactly the same refrigerator that was the loaner (handles on the wrong side and too small). I told the delivery people that it was wrong and they took it back. I immediately called the company to register yet another complaint and was informed that since I declined to accept the replacement, they would not do anything else for me (replace or correct anything). I was also told that I could take them to court if I wanted to do that. I don't believe this is ethical or very business savvy. To me it is just a scam to get over on as many people as possible.Desired Settlement: I want a replacement of the original refrigerator purchased (in good woking condition) or a refund.

Review: This company sells used appliances at southern California, I tried to get a fridge from them, and the first one I got was not working right, when I requested the exchange they attend fairly quickly, the issue was with the replacement fridge, it was infested with roaches, like bad infested, eggs and living ones, I tried to clean everything up to avoid getting my apartment affected but getting rid of eggs is hard because roaches nest them in hard to get places and also those are really resistant to different kinds of poison. I contacted back the seller (Erin is the salesperson at this case) and they were unable to set something for me, I just wanted to get another clean one, after he refused I asked for a refund, he also refused, so after I just asked him to come over and pick that fridge up, I just want it out of my house and at this point I dont even care about the money (275 dlls) I paid for it, I just want to avoid any issue with the apartment offices regarding plagues or having my apartment infested with roaches. He refused to come for it stating that if the fridge works there is nothing else he can do. I tried to call them again today (5-29th) with no answer from either the phone at the receipt stub or the salesperson cell phone.Desired Settlement: I want now my $275.00dlls back and them to pick the infested fridge from my apartment. I am looking also to file a warning to the health department about this business delivering infested appliances over the county. risking health of the users.

Review: I bought a washing machine from this company In Nov of 2013. Three days after installation the machine it broke down and wouldn't spin properly. They exchanged it for me but it took four days for them to do so. I called them repeatedly asking for someone to just keep in contact with me so I knew what was going on - I have small children and trips to the laundry mat aren't the easiest thing in the world for me. The day the finally came I was told they would be there between 11am and 1 pm. At 1:30 they still hadn't arrived so I began calling. The answer I got from the business was that they weren't sure why the service dept hadn't called me or where they were but they would get back to me. An hour later no answer from them. Finally around 4 I was got a hold of them and they told me a truck broke down-they didn't know when they would get to me. I asked why they couldn't have told me this hours earlier-received another excuse about the service department not communicating. Finally showed up to exchange shortly after 5 pm. Three weeks later the machine they exchanged for me broke down and was doing the exact same thing.They again brought me another machine. This one wasn't even working right before the man who installed it left! The agitator wouldn't spin all the way and it was shuddering and shaking so badly I could hear it across the entire house. I called and was told that "washing machines are supposed to make noise." [redacted], the person I was talking to then told me that it wasn't cost effective for him to keep exchanging machines for me. I told him I didn't want an exchange, I wanted my machine repaired. He told me he would contact me after repairing the 2nd machine himself. Three days later I had to call him again and he sounded surprised when I asked him if he was going to be returning my machine. A few days later they showed up with a machine that WAS NOT the one they repaired. Installed and left very quickly - an now this machine IS NOT WORKING EITHER. It smells like it is overheating too.Desired Settlement: I want the $210 dollars originally spent to this company returned to me and their machine picked up so that I can buy a machine elsewhere. I do not trust this company or the "service dept." [redacted] was incredibly rude and condescending to me when I called and I feel like these people are scammers.

We do apologize for the inconvenience, but please have all information listed if the customer is actually our customers: full name and invoice/receipt number. From the complaint, these information were not provided, in order for us to response to the complaint we want to know who is this customer. Every customers that we sold any type of appliance to, we provide receipt and invoice. We do not want to give anyone any difficult time, but without those info, we can't really provide any kind of response.

Review: T.G.Q. removed my dryer from my home to fix at their shop. I was told the dryer would be returned in a week. They left a dryer to use while mine was being fixed. They never returned my dryer as they said they would. I was yelled at by Nathan McCallister and so was my wife when we were finally able to get a hold of T.G.Q. I tried to contact them a dozen times before someone answered the phone. They took my information and never called back. I have text messages that say T.G.Q. no longer has my dryer. T.G.Q. took my dryer and sold it to someone else.Desired Settlement: I would like my dryer replaced with the same model number or one that compares to the product they removed from my home.

Terrible experience. Moved into a rental house, purchased washer, dryer, refrigerator. Two delivery men acted incredibly unprofessional and immature, washer has what looks like cement in the bottom, refrig is a nightmare never really worked correctly. Been calling everyday to get someone to come repair or look at the fridge. At this point I wish we would have paid full price somewhere. Waste of money. It's all going to probably break within the year and everything from them isn't in writing so there's really no guarantee to get any help once they drop it off, even if there's a "three month warranty." Stay away from this place.

Review: Product delivered (Refrigerator) was completely filthy. Spent a good 3.5 hours cleaning out what looked like dead roaches and their eggs/feces. The last 5 days after purchase I have been killing roaches inside and outside of the fridge. Roach traps and boric acid haven't helped the problem. The fridge has a broken door and does not cool to appropriate temperatures. The company does not offer a refund and does not advertise this until they hand you an invoice and are out of your home. I called the salesperson Sunday (2 days after purchase) and he told me about the no refund policy. He had the service department call me the next day, who I told I would call him back. When I called him back he said he had the wrong customer, yet the next day a technician called once to say they were on their way to fix the issues, but I said I never authorized anyone to come out, but to call me to talk about their policies. I have called 2 consecutive days since and no one is returning my call from their office in Garden Grove.

If a used appliance company is reselling refurbished or used appliances they should not deliver those products dirty and loaded with disease ridden creatures. This is a health issue. I will not accept another product that comes from their warehouse with the same pests.Desired Settlement: Get this thing out of my house and give me a refund, or small claims will ensue.

Review: Purchased a 2007 Fridgdaire top/bottom refrigerator from this company. It worked for about 3 days. Called several times to have them come out and fix it. After calls 8-5, 8-7, I finally got a hold of somebody at the service number and they came out and replaced a sensor. A day later, it started freezing up and the bottom part of the fridge has never got cold. The temp is probably around 50-60 degrees. I have lost about $100 worth of food that I had to throw out. I have called almost every day since 8-11 and nobody returns my calls. I called again starting on 8-18, and now their voicemail box is full. I went over to the store on 8-20=3014, to complain in person, they threatened to call the police on me. They said they would have somebody call me to come out and fix it, but I am not holding my breath. When I first got the fridge, bugs came out of the vents and some other areas of the fridge. I find another bug every few days. I just want my money back and I want this business closed. Per other reviews on Yelp, they were bad. Out of 8 reviews, 7 were bad. This place of business should not be able to steal from people.Desired Settlement: I want them to have a full refund of $255, plus around $50 in food I lost due to the fridge not working right.
