Although Miss *** did apply in January and we were unable to show the unit to her at her requested times due to
the unit not fully being ready for showWe still did not have her 100% approvedOur applicants sign an application that states should any falsification or misrepresentation be discovered at any point during the approval process that whatever amount of money was posted for a security deposit which in her case was $500; Is non-refundableIt was discovered that one of the addresses listed as a previous address; in which she lived with a relative of some sort or another; she was in fact a lease holderAt that point her security deposit was non- refundable but we do not make it a business practice to keep that large amount of money from someone and so we withheld a $portion of that deposit and refunded the rest to *** when we could have held her to the application she signedI have attached a copy of the application that is signed by folks when they apply for an apartment
