vacating the apartmentthe interested party was looking to move into GrandMarc on or after September 17thThe interested party then backed out and decided not to sign a leaseAs stated in your lease, you are responsible for your contract in full if a reletter does not sign a lease, pay their first rental installment, or receive keys from GrandMarcThe reletter did not sign a lease, pay any rental installment and was not given keys issued from GrandMarcThis means that you are still the responsible party on the lease contract
In addition to the installments for your bed space, you added parking to your lease contract at $per installmentIn an attempt to help you relet your space as soon as possible, GrandMarc has offed to and is actively marketing your space without the additional parking fee addedBecause it seemed as their was some misunderstanding on your part, GrandMarc has also offered to waive late payments penalties for your October installmentGrandMarc will continue to market your space without the added parking fees and we have several interested partiesIt is GrandMarc's understanding that it is in the best interest of every party involved to relet your spaceYour name remains at the top of the relet list and GrandMarc will continue to work diligently to lease your space
Until the space has been filled, you are the responsible party on the lease contract

A representative of GrandMarc called to inform me that they had someone to re-let my apartment and asked me how soon I could be outI told them I could be out as soon as September 16th and when I told this to the representative I was told that was perfect and if I would be turning my keys in the same day, and I said yesI specifically asked for clarification on the exact date they wanted me out and she responded, "16th would be great"After this phone call I then made alternate living arrangements thinking I would no longer be living or paying rent to the GrandMarc
GrandMarc only waived the parking fee after I had contacted them with concerns about getting an October rent reminderThey had not been marketing the space without the parking fee before that callI have seen no attempts to market my space "more actively" than any other available spaceGrandMarc only waived the late fee because the assistant manager said to ignore the late rent remindersWhen I originally talked to him, he referred me to the leasing department, and she also said to ignore the late fee and to talk to the General Manager about my situationWhen I was talking to the General Manager he would not let me explain what happenedHe constantly interrupted me saying I was wrong and no one said those things to meIf no one said those things to me why would I have packed all of my things and made other living arrangements when I had paid through the end of SeptemberThe whole conversation with him was rude and bullying on his end while I was trying to explain my situationHe finally said that he would waive the late fee only because some of his staff had already promised thatMy experience with dealing with the GrandMarc in person and on the phone is much different than how they present themselves on paper
