Washington Business Services LLC Reviews (2)

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to meI do not have a record of the February mailing with the assessmentIt may be helpful in the future for WBS to include a copy of the assessment with each bill so others do not make the same mistakeWhen I talked with WBS, I did find them professional and they explained my e-mail was hitting their spam filters, which is why I wasn't hearing anythingThe late fees are beyond their control in refunding, but they did say they will explain the situation to board for considerationI accept that WBS has done all it can to resolve the issue.Sincerely, *** ***

We contacted Mr. [redacted] by telephone the day we received the complaint from Revdex.com, 10/26/2015. We reviewed the complaint with him and then explained the Association budget containing the annual assessment of $650.00 per unit had been provided to him in an all member mailing delivered via [redacted] dated...

2/12/2015. Mr. [redacted] correctly cited the new collection policy but failed to notice the amount of the annual assessment in the materials provided in the 2/12/2015 mailing. When the first half of the annual assessment was invoiced to the membership, $325.00, he incorrectly paid $162.50 instead of $325.00. No further payments were received from Mr. [redacted] to fully pay his half. Because of this, per the Association collection policy, late fees were incurred totaling $150.00.The conclusion of our telephone conversation was that Mr. [redacted] would pay the past due assessment balance of $487.50. According to our management agreement with the homeowners association, Washington Business Services does not have the authority to automatically waive late fees at an owner’s request. We can, however, make a request to the homeowner’s association board on behalf of the owner to request removal of their late fees. We agreed to do so with Mr. [redacted] if he paid the actual past due amount. We received his check on 11/02/2015 for $487.50 and will proceed with making his request to the board. The ultimate removal of the late fees is a board decision, not ours. We cannot guarantee the outcome of this request since it is beyond our authority.
