301-977-to avoid the cancellation fee of $for current patient or $for new patient appointmentsThank you.]*** *** did not show up for her appointment.*** *** claims that we called and cancelled her appointment due to the doctor having an emergency but this is not correctThe doctor was here the afternoon of 03/23/saw patientThe doctor did not have an emergency and we did not cancel any appointments*** *** was marked as a "no show" for a 45-minute initial consultation.The second appointment for 04/07/@1:was set up on 03/30/We again sent three (3) email Confirmations and remindersWe left a voice message reminder [*** ***, you have an appointment on Friday, April at 1:If you cannot keep your appointment call us at *** to avoid the cancellation fee of for current patient or $for new patient appointmentsThank you.] Our system also sent her the following text: [*** ***: Washington Endocrinology appt on Fri 4/at 1:45].*** *** showed up on 04/at 3:We were very apologetic but the doctor would not be able to see her that afternoon since she already had patients on her scheduledWhile in the office *** *** seemed confusedShe showed the receptionist her appointment reminder which was for 3:but was for her original appointment of 03/23/She had the wrong date.At a later date *** *** called to set up a third appointmentWhile looking for a new date, the receptionist let *** *** know that she would be responsible for one of the two now show fees of $We did waive one of the fees as an act of good faith*** *** became incredibly agitated and angry with my receptionistI sat next to the receptionist and listened to the conversation, *** *** was abrupt and rudeShe also accused the receptionist of calling her stupid and a liarI guarantee that those words were never said or implied by my receptionist*** *** ended the conversation abruptly.Within the hour, I received noticed of bad reviews online*** *** cut and pasted the same verbiage that you've been sent from her online reviews,We went out of our way with up to different reminders for each of her appointments but failed in clarifying *** ***'s confusion of her dates and timesIn an act of good faith we waived one of her two $no show feeThat was not enoughWe will waive the second $feePlease note that we set aside a total of hours for a patient that never showed up.After *** ***'s abusive behavior to the staff she will no longer be welcomed in our practice.I do appreciate your time and effort in this matter and will assume this case closed.Sincerely, Jose E*** Practice Administrator
