The ad in question began running on August 23, 2014. We were not notified that the address was incorrect until August 18, at which time we corrected the ad in the newspaper. As to my knowledge the customer did not request a credit at that time.However, had she request a credit, our
company policy is to refund on month's worth of advertising when we are notified that an ad is running correctly,We ran the ad from August 20, until November 2, with the correct addressOn November 4, 2016, Ms*** contacted us when she received her October bill and stated she was not paying for this as the ad had previously ran incorrectly. We canceled the ad at this time. The bill at this point was $consisting of $in service charges that the system assesses automatically and $(weeks) in ad costs. This amount was adjusted off in December.As I stated above, our policy is to credit one month's worth of advertising in the event an ad is run incorrectly. While I was not the one that spoke to her, she was apparently not given that credit in August. We regret the misunderstanding and the error. While we cannot refund the money for the entire time it ran incorrectly, we would be willing to run her ad free of charge for the next months.Thank you for your assistance in resolving this misunderstanding
