Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because:if there was a temperature differential when you first analyzed my house why didn't you explain it to me? Your brochures that you kept referencing too all said that'd I have even temperature throughout my homeThis is why you sold me a more expensive furnaceMy house is freezing cold downstairs and blazing hot upstairs when the ac runsThere is also little airflow upstairs compared to downstairs while it is onThat to me would be fraud because you sold me something that you said " wouldn't work in my home"To the response of you coming to my home and saying there was only a one degree difference is falseSince you only checked my upstairs bathroom and no other room I ended up buying a thermometer like what you used to check all temperatures in my homeMy back rooms were degrees warmer then downstairs & my main bedroom was degrees warmer then downstairsI do not know how you can justify saying that I have too high of expectations when AC should keep the whole house coolAlso you talked about putting in a larger a cold air return upstairs, attic fans and more ceiling fans which to me you were just stabbing in the dark to solve a problem that you had no intention of fixingAll of you've done is come up with excuses to blame me the homeowner for having a poorly built home that ac would never work inYou need to fix it promptly or pull the entire system out and give me my money backI have been very patient especially since you punched a hole ft up on the side of the house without even asking and thinking nothing of it and wrecking the ascetics of my home.Sincerely,*** ***

Hello ***, As we have discussed before and during the six or so visits to your home, after the system was installed, we found the system to be operating correctly and cooling the home adequately
On 6/10/Doug Jwas at your home at 8:00amThe thermostat was set at degrees for cool
with the fan onThe actual temperature was degrees downstairs and upstairs was degreesThe attic temperature was degrees
I was back out to your home on 6/15/at 6:45pm, with another comfort consultant Paul HThe thermostat was still set at degrees for cool with the fan onThe downstairs temperature was degrees, and upstairs was degreesThe attic temperature was degrees
At that time we suggested you may want to install an attic fan to pull some of the heat out of the attic, to reduce the temperature in the attic on hot days
We found your main complaint was that the system did not perform like the cooling system at the office building you work in. I explained commercial heating and air conditioning operates differently than residential heating and air conditioning
The main thing to consider is, in the winter time when your home system is heating, there is a temperature differential between the main floor and the upstairs floor Due to thermal dynamics heat rises and cold air drops, the same applies to the air conditioning modeHeat rises and the cold air dropsAlso because you have a big stairwell in between your upstairs floor and downstairs floor with no seperation between the two floors, and no zone system, there is a small temperature differentialThis is something your home has always had but the degrees may be a little more noticable in the cooling mode versus the heating mode
We feel as though we have tried to address your concerns as you have conveyed them to us and have explained how the system works

We would also like to add that the temperature differential was there before we installed the system. Our system provides heating and air conditioning, it does not reverse thermal dynamics, which is what you are asking for and we do not feel that is a reasonable expectation
