***The issue raised by this particular citizen was a claim that, when our Driver arrived at the service address, he used the property’s private drive while providing trash collection service While doing so, the citizen claims the covert under the driveway was damagedIt is our policy to receive consent from customers before driving our vehicles on private property During multiple conversations with the claimaint, it was brought to her attention that her father, the tenant at the property, gave us permission to drive onto the property and, in fact, requested that we do so to assist him so he would not have to pull his cart to the curb A Town of *** employee attests that the permission was granted to do so While permission was granted to use the driveway, we do not believe the damage claimed was caused by our vehicle We believe the damage was a result of the extreme rains of the October hurricane We have not driven on the property since approximately Dec 15, Please feel free to contact me with any further questions or concernsSincerely,*** ***Branch ManagerWaste Industries*** **

I have pictures of the driveway prior to the trash truck driving Also it was a tenant who gave them permission it was not the property owner They did not get permission in writing the same as satellite companies are required from the property owner Yes the storm may have made it weak but I as property owner did not give them any permission to drive on my property and the tenant had no business doing so As soon I I noticed the damage in dec I asked them to stop going to the house to pick up the trash The tenant are seniors and they have alztymers *** *** ***

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  On Case # [redacted]- Waste Industries, LLCThe have agreed to pay half of the repair.  Total bill is $3200 they agreed to pay $1600. I am a business owner myself.  They need to get stuff like driving in peoples yard in writing from the landowner.  They need to do follow up to make sure that they are getting permission from the right person not a tenant, the owner.  I still have not received check but I will keep you informed I need any more from you.  Thanks for your helpRegards,

I have contacted the home owner and will be working closely with her on a solution.

Waste Industries acquired the local waste collection company which I had for several years. Upon the takeover they failed to collect my trash for 3 weeks, after numerous contacts they finally picked up. All the correspondences via phone calls to a very rude customer service representative named Sharon, who gave me excuse after excuse as to why their service was so poor. After missing a 4th pickup in two months, I contacted them again to be told they would credit me for the missed pickup. At that time I canceled my service with them, when I received my refund check they shorted it. Another conversation with the rude customer service rep, told me that the computer does the prorating, and there was no record of a credit for missed pickup. Do you self a favor and avoid the headache by avoiding doing business with Waste Industries!!!

This complaint has to do with services that I pay for on a 3 month basis. For the last 3 weeks
starting December 12, my garbage has not been picked up on time each time I called in to re-
port this issue it has been take care of in a timely manner which I appreciate but why do I need to keep calling in to get my garbage pick up on time. The pick up time is Monday of each week in the [redacted] subdivison....

If anyone trying to cancel their service on deceased account, have a copy of death certificate ready. It is the company's policy to see a death certificate before any cancellation.
No sympathy, no if or but about it. DEATH CERTIFICATE to be faxed or mailed to cancel.
Awful experience dealing with customer service. The most ridiculous policy I have ever experienced.
