Re: Revdex.com Complaint# XXX-XXXX
WM Account# [redacted] - [redacted],
The Revdex.com contacted us to let us know...

about the complaint you filed against Waste Management. I apologize that you experienced issues with your request to cancel and appreciate the opportunity address your concerns.
[redacted] signed a Service Agreement ("Agreement") with Waste Management which took effect on August 17, 2013 for twenty-four (24) months. Pursuant to Section 2 of the Agreement the initial term of the agreement is for twenty- four (24) months and Agreement automatically renews for an additional twenty- four (24) months renewal term if [redacted] does not notify Waste Management in a written notice of termination, at least (90) days, but not more than one hundred eighty (180) days, per Section 2 of the termination of the then-existing term.

[redacted] failed to give Waste Management notice of termination within Section 2's allotted time period. Therefore the Agreement automatically renewed for an additional 24-months (24) ending on August 17, 2017.
However, per your request, Account Manager Damara submitted the account to cancel effective 9/30/2015 and will schedule the removal of our container.
However, because you are still in a service agreement with Waste Management, you will be invoiced the liquidated damages and the removal charges.
If you have questions or comments regarding this matter, please feel free to discuss it with your Account Manager Damara B[redacted] at X-XXX-XXX-XXXX or email [redacted]@wm.com .
Cordially,

Hello.
I understand the agreement, but feel we [redacted]should be better informed of the automatic renewal, For instance [redacted] always send an email advising us that an automatic renewal is about to take place, as trying to remember when people sign up for things is difficult.
My wife only just missed the deadline date by 17 days. (its not like we were 6 months into the new contract) she was also told she would be sent information about how to cut the costs down, by either a smaller dumpster or less collections, of which never happened, I went onto your website to voice my complaint, which was answered by Chad R[redacted](Customer Digital Care Representative) who said he would forward it on to the correct department, who again never replied, Hence being forced into contacting you this way.
I felt like nobody wanted to address this, and feel as no notification was given ( as 2 years is a long time to remember when we signed up) and due to financial situations, needed too (Not wanted too) cut my costs down. that the cancellation fee could be wavered.
Regards

July 21, 2016   Re: Revdex.com Complaint# [redacted] WM Account# [redacted]   Dear Mr. [redacted], The Revdex.com has contacted us to let us know about the complaint you filed against Waste Management. I apologize that you experienced issues with...

your request to cancel and appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns. On July 18, 2016, you called requesting to cancel your account because you were moving to a new location. Account Manager [redacted] asked you to complete our Store Closing Affidavit and forward any lease documentation with the new address so we could release you from your agreement.  Attached is the email Account Manager [redacted] received from you. Waste Management makes every reasonable effort to verify that a signee does, have the authority to bind his/her company to sign the service agreement. [redacted] signed a Service Agreement ("Agreement") with Waste Management which took effect on May 1, 2016 for thirty-six (36) months. [redacted] can still elect to cancel the Agreement; per Section 7 of the Agreement, will contractually owe liquidated damages for early termination. If [redacted] would like to continue with the cancellation, please contact Account Manager [redacted] at (855) 347-7533 or email [redacted] Very Respectfully, [redacted] Waste Management Corporate - WM Cares
