Very expensive. They were quick to set us up with bins, sent us the wrong bins (twice) and we have received no confirmation of a contract, just an inflated bill. Our account went into collections before we even received our first invoice. We had opted for bi-weekly pickups, yet they have not picked up in two months.
I contacted Waste Management Ltd in January 2016 when I experienced irregularities in billing. When I talked with someone and they looked at past bills for comparisons even further irregularities emerged. They could not explain the irregularities. They said I would be contacted in 2 weeks time once they had done an audit and someone would go through past and current bills with me. I did not hear back from anyone and instead received an overdue account notice. I called Waste Management again and they apologized and once again promised someone would be in contact with me to review all the bills and agreed with me they made no sense and I had a right to have someone go through each invoice with me. I received an email from someone who refused to review each of the bills with me. They simply sent a "reconciliation" sheet, which does not address mos of the irregularities. Despite having all services suspended since the beginning of the year until this matter was resolved Waste Management "auto-renewed" a contract which I had not signed in the first place. There was no discussion. When I brought this to their attention I was told it does not matter. The unethical business practices and invoicing of Waste Management are shocking. There is no transparency, no follow-through or explanation for billing irregularities which change from invoice to invoice and make no sense, and no ethics in their contract processes.
