Wastewater Solutions Inc Reviews (2)

[redacted] has been a customer of Wastewater Solutions Inc. for approximately 5 years. He purchased an aeration system and installed it himself October 25th 2011. With the purchase of each system, comes a two year 100% guaranteed...

warranty and 4 service inspections within the first 2 years. After the first two years, the [redacted] and [redacted] require the homeowner to purchase a maintenance contract and effluent sampling on a yearly basis. Before receiving a permit to install an aeration system, a legal form is signed in agreeance that the homeowner must carry a maintenance service contract for the life of the system. [redacted] failed to purchase a service contract after the 2 year contract that comes with the system expired. He claims to have purchased 5 different air compressors since 2011, but our records show that the only purchase made was for a set of diffussers totaling in $138.78. The reason the diffussers needed replaced was due to the severity of lime and calcium scale in his water. Of the 4 free services that come with the purchase of the system, his last one was received on 8/30/2013. Approximately 3 years after his contract had lapsed, he contacted our office to purchase a service contract in April 2016. At that time a service contract was sent to him in the mail and it was explained to him that once he had the chance to read over it, he must send it back with a check and a signed copy of contract. At that time we would notify the county that he had a contract and we would be out to service. He stated he wanted to be home at time of service and we explained to him that our company cannot make appointments due to the amount of systems that we service on a daily basis, but we agreed to call him when the service technician was in route. On June 26th 2016, [redacted] sent the signed contract with payment. Ironically, the very next day, June 27th he called our office on and said we needed to come out because he thought his Ultraviolet light was burned out. He said to have the service technician call him and he would meet us there. The service tech arrived to the site, opened up the system controls. After diagnosing what needed repaired, the tech called the homeowner told him the compressor was dismantled and wondered why there was a fan blowing on system[redacted] started being very nasty with the service technician, so he was advised to put the lid back on the control panel and leave. [redacted] called me the following day with a very aggressive, nasty tone and demanded his service contract money back. He never mentioned anything about an air compressor malfunctioning or that he had replaced it five times. If his air compressor was replaced 5 times, it was not from our company. I told him that I would gladly refund his money and cancel the service contract, but I would be reporting it to [redacted] as I am required to do. Our company services over 3,000 aeration systems. We rebuild and replace hundreds of air compressors every year. This is not a malfunction of the product, but simply routine maintenance. The air compressors have a lifespan anywhere from 3-6 years due to the fact that it is a motor that runs 24 hours a day 7 days a week in variable weather conditions. The compressors have 2 rubber diaphragms that move in and out to compress the air. They need replaced after so long due to wear and tear. Our service technicians have never had to cool the diaphragms of an air compressor before rebuilding it. [redacted]s insinuating that the repairs would not have been needed had my service tech allowed the compressor to cool down beforehand. This is a very common repair that is needed for any and all systems after a certain amount of time, and it is not common procedure to “cool it with a fan” before the repair takes place. Consequently, in regards his desired settlement request, it is completely invalid The complications [redacted]s has experienced with his system was due to lack of maintenance after his initial service period. We have fully refunded [redacted]s his service contract money and do not have any further obligations to replace or repair any mechanical components free of charge.
Sincerely, [redacted]

Terrible customer service. Rude, unable to schedule an appointment. Seems unconcerned with keeping my business beyond the contract signed. Can guarantee nothing.
