The watch that Mrs [redacted] dropped off for repair, Work Order 2015- [redacted] ***, was one watch of a number of watches that Mrs [redacted] dropped off for service and or repair The Longines watch was in very poor condition The movement had to be cleaned internally for it to work ($***service fee for which we never took or asked for payment, because we were attempting to find a way to repair the clasp). The clasp is no longer available for this watch band Longines and all other watch companies will simply inform a watch owner that the part is no long available and cannot be repaired and that is it They will do nothing more for the customer We attempted to repair the clasp using various means so the locking mechanism would work A jeweler designed a special part to fix the clasp and tried laser welding to attach it, but the weld would not hold I tried using different adhesives and split tubes I specially mawhich my son can attest-and attach them to the clasp but nothing would hold, including epoxy, super glue, jb weld and, gorilla glue (which I purchase especially for this project). My son had expressed, after looking in our parts book, that perhaps there was a clasp that we could substitute on the watch while still trying to find a way to fix the original clasp, as Mrs [redacted] had insisted that she wanted the clasp to be original-that is the final fix-with the Longines logo on the clasp My jeweler had even told me that if we could fit another clasp to the watch that he knew someone that could duplicate the logo This, Mrs [redacted] was not interested in doing. This watch was left on my work bench in a tray on the base of a light It could not be seen if one were looking straight into the store I had left it there because I wanted to try a few more things before giving up and informing Mrs [redacted] that the clasp could not be repaired by any meansOne afternoon, a young man entered the store and was walking all around

Revdex.com: Please note that the incorrect email address is a result of David C[redacted] typing the incorrect email address (e.g. “ent” instead of “net”). The facts of the case are more detailed than David C[redacted] stating $** as the value of the watch. The value of the watch has been established, independently, as more than $**. Just as importantly is his failure to report the theft to the [redacted], [redacted], and to me; and his refusal to provide information. No direct communication will be held with David C[redacted]. The appropriate authorities have been engaged and I believe resolution will be forthcoming. Thank you.
