Charge breakdown was: Water $13.50 Sewer $35.98 NHCRWA $2.40 I have included an account ledger that shows the charges from the billing system. ARTICLE III SERVICE RATES AND FEES Section 3.01. Water Service Rates. The following monthly rates for the sale of water shall be in effect for each Separate Connection within the District from the effective date hereof until such time as the Board of Directors amends said rates: A. Single-Family Homes and Duplexes: During construction and after the initial occupancy, single-family homes and each unit in a duplex shall be billed as follows: First 10,000 gallons $13.50 (minimum) 10,001 to 20,000 gallons $ 1.50/1000 gallons All over 20,000 gallons $ 1.75/1000 gallons Section 3.02. Sewer Service Rates. The following monthly rates for the collection and disposal of sewage shall be in effect for each Separate Connection within the District from the effective date hereof until such time as the Board amends said rates: A. Single-Family Homes Each $35.98 (flat rate) ARTICLE IV SERVICE POLICY Section 4.01. Security Deposits. Security deposits shall be required as follows: A. Residential Deposits. Each Customer establishing a new account for single-family residential service and each Customer re-establishing an account for single-family residential service that has been terminated for on-payment shall be required to pay, prior to the District providing service or restoring service, a security deposit of $75.00 where the Customer is the owner of the property to be served and a deposit of $100.00 where the Customer is renting or leasing the property to be served. B. Refund of Deposit. Following payment of the final bill and payment of all fees and charges, the balance of the security deposit, if any, shall be refunded by check mailed to the Customer. No interest shall be payable to the Customer on any security deposit. Section 3.04. [redacted] Water Authority Assessment. Pursuant to [redacted] of the [redacted] Legislature creating the [redacted] Water Authority (the "Water Authority") and to the Order Establishing Well Pumpage Fees and Adopting Rules and Regulations Concerning Measuring Well Pumpage and Collecting Fees Adopted by the Water Authority, the District shall pay a well pumpage fee quarterly to the Water Authority in the amount required by the Water Authority based on the total pumpage measured at the District’s water wells. The District hereby assesses a charge (the “NHCRWA fee”) equivalent to the Water Authority’s well pumpage fee per 1,000 gallons of metered water usage plus an additional 20% to every customer of the District. The Operator shall list the NHCRWA fee on the Customer’s bill as a separate line item and shall collect the NHCRWA fee in addition to other charges. Customer spoke to the office manager from the corporate office on 5/29/14 and based upon the note, the customer understood.
