We purchased and installed a Marathon water heater on 10-11- The water heater was found to be leaking on 10-16- We called and had it replaced on that date When I contacted Water Heater Innovations to ask about the warranty that states"For as long as the original purchaser owns the home and does not move the water heater, Water Heater Innovations Incwill furnish a replacement water heater if the tank fails, I was told that they no longer have that warranty, I stated that I thought a business could not change their warranty after a customer purchased that product I asked to initiate a claim and a few days later received a letter from their liability/claims department requesting I hire a forensic/expert engineer, at my expense, prior to removing the water heater unit to take photographs of the water heater with leak in progress and a full list of other ridiculous requests (I have letter, if needed) Did this company expect me to keep this leaking water heater in place, go wi
