We apologize for any inconvenience that the customer has experienced and understand their frustration In order to make our email communications a better experience, we have changed the type of unsubscribe link that is included in our emails to a more universally recognized type of link throughout all browsers and email clients MrCardwell was manually unsubscribed as soon as we learnt that his unsubscribe request was not being processed by our system Our emails have consistently contained an unsubscribe that is both inherent and required in order to have any email sent outHubspot, our email marketing service will not allow emails to go out without a functioning unsubscribe link The type of link however that is required is not a typical "" link, but rather an internally linking {{URL}} linkDepending on the email client reading the particular email, this link can come across broken or not working because the client is out of dateThe reason for using the {{URL}} is because of tracking and functionality, which allows us to keep track and manage unsubscribes via Hubspot links don't offer this type of function unless paired with a tracking code Unfortunately this incident seems to to have arisen with the email client not properly reading the unsubscribe linkI have attached the screenshot and boxed the proof that every email contains an unsubscribe link. However we are still recognizing the fact that his browser or email client was unable to read this type of {{URL}} linkTo correct the problem, we are using a less functional but more universally recognized type linkAgain, we do understand the customers frustration, but since they did not try to resolve the issue by contacting us by email or phone, we are asking that this complaint be taken off of our Revdex.com record
Revdex.com: I appreciate the upgrade on their email and for manually unsubscibing me from their mailingsHowever I stand by my contention it was impossible to complete the unsubscribe feature I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved Regards, [redacted]

throughout all browsers and email clients.
Mr. Cardwell was manually unsubscribed as soon as we learnt that his unsubscribe request was not being processed by our system.
Our emails have consistently contained an unsubscribe that is both inherent and required in order to have any email sent out. Hubspot, our email marketing service will not allow emails to go out without a functioning unsubscribe link.
The type of link however that is required is not a typical "<a href="#">" link, but rather an internally linking {{URL}} link. Depending on the email client reading the particular email, this link can come across broken or not working because the client is out of date. The reason for using the {{URL}} is because of tracking and functionality, which allows us to keep track and manage unsubscribes via Hubspot. <a href="#"> links don't offer this type of function unless paired with a tracking code.
Unfortunately this incident seems to to have arisen with the email client not properly reading the unsubscribe link. I have attached the screenshot and boxed the proof that every email contains an unsubscribe link. However we are still recognizing the fact that his browser or email client was unable to read this type of {{URL}} link. To correct the problem, we are using a less functional but more universally recognized <a href="#"> type link. Again, we do understand the customers frustration, but since they did not try to resolve the issue by contacting us by email or phone, we are asking that this complaint be taken off of our Revdex.com record.
