On December 28th myself and my young daughter inquired about your water taxi service at stop Number in Fort Lauderdale (Convention Center) We were promised that the service ran every minutes We left the stop around 11:45am I told the captain I needed to be back by 4: He told me that would be no issue to take the 4pm taxi at any stop We spent a lovely day at stop number (Bahia Mar) At 3:we went to the taxi stop The taxi did not appear so at 4:I called and she said they were running minutes behind My oldest daughter was performing at the convention center (she was in the Orange Bowl on December 30th and they were having a special show for that evening at 5:15) so I felt safe I would make the show in time At 4:still no taxi so I called your office again and was PROMISED that it would arrive at 5pm The taxi DID NOT arrive until 5:20pm At this point I was panicked and crying missing my daughters performance The taxi that finally arrived only had seats available so the kind people that were in front of us in line let my daughter and I board your water taxi in their place We were finally on our way I would miss the performance and at this point I was hoping to make our bus back to our hotel which was miles from the convention center The water taxi was unable to drop us off at stop at 5:because it was full of other boats I explained to your captains my situation and how desperate I was to reach our bus by 6pm They were very rude and cold and unhelpful even laughing at me as my little daughter and I cried from missing my older daughter perform and now our bus to our hotel I was frantic to get off the taxi in time As you can only imagine we did not make it in time and had to pay $for an Uber ride to our hotel not to mention a performance of my daughter's life that I missed and can never get back! I am so disappointed in your company I have called and complained and the only explanation I was given was that it is a busy week I work in Public relations in NC and I am sorry but that is an unacceptable response If your taxi's are so busy they cannot run on time and arrive over an hour behind schedule you should disclose that to passengers [redacted] they board If told I would have made other arrangements I lost time, memories, money, and more from my experience with your company
