Water Wizard Pools

Ms. [redacted] stated “The cleaner showed up the
following Friday and I refused service since I had been caring for the pool
myself.”Unfortunately, it was the customer’s attempts to
care for the pool herself that created the problem.  In emptying the pump pot basket she had
dropped the oring on...

the ground.  If she
had allowed our certified pool operator to service the pool he would have
discovered the problem and rectified it. 
However, the customer cursed our pool technician and ordered him out of
the yard, even though he had been civil to her.  It is Water Wizard’s policy that if a customer
calls us the day before and requests us to skip their pool, for whatever
reason, we do not charge.  However, if we
go out to a pool and cannot do the service because a gate is locked or a dog is
out or, as in this case, a customer is angry and abusive, the charge stands,
because we spent the employee’s time and gasoline driving there and driving
away.  “During the next week someone showed up to clean
the impeller.”  The impeller was not clogged and did not need
cleaning.  If the customer will examine
the invoice, they will find that it does NOT state that we cleaned the
impeller.  It states that we checked the
impeller, which we did because the customer was firmly convinced there was a
problem with it.  The impeller was not
clogged.  The entire problem with the
pool was caused by the oring being out of the pump pot, a problem which could
have been solved quickly, efficiently, and without delay, if our trained
professional had been allowed to do his job.  We will go ahead and deduct the $90.00 repair
charge, but the balance remaining for pool service already performed is
$143.40.  Under the circumstances, we
feel that the customer will be happier with another pool company, so we have
suspended our service.
