Review: We have been loyal customers of Water Works since 2006 and have never missed a payment or have never had any issues with payments. My husband is now disabled and our budget is much tighter. With the last well service, we asked the technician if he could call and see if the total bill could be divided in half, with the remainder to be paid in the next month. He called and spoke to "Bill" in the office at Water Works, who stated that would be ok to do. We paid half with our debit card and the technician went on his way. Three days later the remainder of the bill was deducted from our account, not in the next month as was agreed to. I called to see why this happened and was treated with extreme rudeness by the person who answered the phone. I was told it "just happened and there was nothing that could be done about it", and that "we are a small business and need complete payments up front". When I questioned the agreement that Bill had set up for us, that was when his tone changed and he stated that there was nothing else to do. I explained we were loyal customers for a long time and that taking the whole amount out of our account is now going to put us in a bind for the rest of the month. Again, nothing could be done. I got angry and said I might have to look for a new well service provider and was told "okay"! Very poor customer service experience. I have never filed a complaint before with the Revdex.com, but this interaction wa rude enough for me to report it.Desired Settlement: I would like my checking account credited half of the bill amount, as was agreed to in the first place, and then sent a bill in November for the remainder due. It also would be nice if the people answering the phone had customer service skills.
