I am very sympathetic to this situation and I realize how hard it has been on your family We did in fact find the residents who were causing this problem and they were evicted as soon as possible As for your request for May reimbursementWhat we agreed to on May 30th was to waive your required thirty day notice to vacate and your lease termination feeThis is a month value in rent We believe this is a very generous settlement under the circumstance Thanks so much, Carol Hakala

This applicant applied on line, therefore we did not handle her funds at all nor could we have stopped the funds from being processed.? The on line payments should be removed from the bank the same day as the applicant applies however, this must have been delayed for some reason in this case.? Again, we do not have any interaction with the on line payments as they are all electronicHer application took days to process and the timing of this and her funds clearing are quite coincidental? We have processed the entire refund and sent the check to the address listed on her on line application.? Please let me know if you have not received the funds or if you need to update the address for your payment? Thanks much, ? ? Carol Hakala | Senior Community Manager

I am rejecting this response because:
Now my kids and I are out of our home because of this ongoing issueYes I did agree to live with my mom only because my apartment has caused enough health issues and couldn't be there any longerIts not fair for my kids and I to be in this predicamentI did not live in my apartment for the whole month of May, I stayed with several friendsI had asked to get reimbursed for the Month of May, I am not asking to get reimbursed since the problem started back in Janurary with WaterBrook now called AVANA Rancho CucamongaThat money could help my kids and I get a place since we are out of our home because WaterBrook ignored my problem since JanuaryIt took them months to actually do or say something about the issues I was havingNow I have Asthma and shortness of breath probably for the rest of my life with an on going coughSo this issue is not resolved, WaterBrook left my kids and I out of a homeI am very unhappy and very disappointed of the unprofessionalism WaterBrook (Avana Rancho Cucamonga) has done to my family

Hello Miriam, I believe the complaint below was resolved to both parties satisfaction This issue was being handled by my assistant manager mentioned below, Margie, and after several attempts to fix the problem and an error in what apartment was complaining, Margie turned this issue over to me I
spoke with this resident on May 30th and informed her that we identified the apartment(s) that was smoking and immediately asked them to leave. I also offered an immediate termination of the lease contract so the resident could vacate her apartment and move into her Mother’s apartment which is also located within this community.
