I am rejecting this response because: it is not accurate. The room rate is a good example of either your innkeeper not telling you the truth, or that you are not telling the truthHer reasons for being untruthful could be due to a fear of losing her job, or being concerned with her standing with you as the ownersYour reasons could be due to not having been involved in our communications/conversations with her at that time, or financially motivatedAttached is the email from your Waterfront Innkeeper, in which we state the days/dates of our reservation , and her quoting $a night for the Admiral Suite on those nightsHer quote (attached), which we accepted and reserved, makes no reference to $269. Regarding the use of the deckYour Innkeeper did give permissions for use of the pier at no additional chargeIt was a large factor in my wife and myself deciding to reserve your entire inn for our wedding guestsRegarding your other statements:Firstly: We would not have scheduled a pre wedding event for all our guests, at a location where we didn't have permissionNo man would have risked such a thing on the evening before his weddingMy mom has a house nearby and pier on a lakeI would have used the Inn's deck if I didn't have permission; or had been quoted the $1,you charged my credit card without my authorization. Secondly: We had, paid for, and showed you, our permit with the city for our event on your Inns deckThat permit approved our event beyond 10pmRegardless, at your request, we ended our event at 10pmWe would not have invested the time, effort or cost to get a permit without permission. Thirdly: I was told by your Innkeeper that our deck event would be at no cost, because we were renting out your entire innI was never quoted a $1,deck rental charge, I never agreed to a $1,deck rental charge, and I never authorized a $1,deck rental chargeYou had my credit card from my room reservation and added an unauthorized $1,chargeYou did not send me an invoice and I only discovered the charge by reviewing my credit card statementsThen once contacted by me, and over a month after our stay, you sent me an invoice that included room rates in excess of our agreement and a $1,"deck rental" charge that your Innkeeper had verbally contracted for $If you did not know that your Innkeeper had agreed to our deck event for $0, you had every opportunity to quote a cost and gain my consent/agreement to that costBy your logic you could have charged my credit card any non-quoted, non-agreed upon, non-authorized rate you decided toPer your own statement there was no written contract for you to charge me $1,when your Innkeeper verbally contracted our deck event for $If the above facts aren't clear enough I would love to hear how you arrived at the $1,charge for three hours on the deck, vs any other random amount at your whimI'm sure $per hour is completely logical hourly rate you usually quote to customersPlease provide me a contract or communications that show I was quoted $1,for use of the deck, or that I authorized being charged $1,for use of the deck
Sincerely,

I am rejecting this response because: it is not accurate. The room rate is a good example of either your innkeeper not telling you the truth, or that you are not telling the truth. Her reasons for being untruthful could be due to a fear of losing her job, or being concerned with her standing with you as the owners. Your reasons could be due to not having been involved in our communications/conversations with her at that time, or financially motivated. Attached is the email from your Waterfront Innkeeper, in which we state the days/dates of our reservation , and her quoting $249 a night for the Admiral Suite on those nights. Her quote (attached), which we accepted and reserved, makes no reference to $269. Regarding the use of the deck. Your Innkeeper did give permissions for use of the pier at no additional charge. It was a large factor in my wife and myself deciding to reserve your entire inn for our wedding guests. Regarding your other statements:Firstly: We would not have scheduled a pre wedding event for all our guests, at a location where we didn't have permission. No man would have risked such a thing on the evening before his wedding. My mom has a house nearby and pier on a lake. I would have used the Inn's deck if I didn't have permission; or had been quoted the $1,250 you charged my credit card without my authorization. Secondly: We had, paid for, and showed you, our permit with the city for our event on your Inns deck. That permit approved our event beyond 10pm. Regardless, at your request, we ended our event at 10pm. We would not have invested the time, effort or cost to get a permit without permission. Thirdly: I was told by your Innkeeper that our deck event would be at no cost, because we were renting out your entire inn. I was never quoted a $1,250 deck rental charge, I never agreed to a $1,250 deck rental charge, and I never authorized a $1,250 deck rental charge. You had my credit card from my room reservation and added an unauthorized $1,250 charge. You did not send me an invoice and I only discovered the charge by reviewing my credit card statements. Then once contacted by me, and over a month after our stay, you sent me an invoice that included room rates in excess of our agreement and a $1,250 "deck rental" charge that your Innkeeper had verbally contracted for $0. If you did not know that your Innkeeper had agreed to our deck event for $0, you had every opportunity to quote a cost and gain my consent/agreement to that cost. By your logic you could have charged my credit card any non-quoted, non-agreed upon, non-authorized rate you decided to. Per your own statement there was no written contract for you to charge me $1,250 when your Innkeeper verbally contracted our deck event for $0. If the above facts aren't clear enough I would love to hear how you arrived at the $1,250 charge for three hours on the deck, vs any other random amount at your whim. I'm sure $416.6666666666 per hour is completely logical hourly rate you usually quote to customers. Please provide me a contract or communications that show I was quoted $1,250 for use of the deck, or that I authorized being charged $1,250 for use of the deck.
Sincerely,
