I have been a loyal Customer of Waterloo Motors in Warrenton since 2002 when I lived in Bristow and Warrenton. I have always felt the company was trustworthy and I continued to use them for my foreign vehicles even when I lived quite a far distance in Fairfax City. I felt this way until today when I picked up my 2008 [redacted]. Waterloo motors charged me $770.00 for a head light Control module that I could find for $412.44,for an Original [redacted] part, at the highest retail price online before core turn in. When I pointed this out to them, [redacted] gave me a lot of double talk about Warranty for the mark up. [redacted] had also told me when I dropped the vehicle off that they would run a diagnostic test to determine if the Module was the problem which when I found out about the part mark up of $357.56, the front bumper was already removed and I was in for cost of labor to take off and put back on the bumper. I will never use them again.

Review: On October 6, 2013, I went to purchase [redacted] products at Waterloo Motors in [redacted], Va. The prices were not displayed, as I expected to pay [redacted] retail pricing for my purchase, my products were bagged by the parts counter person and I was directed to the clerk for payment. The clerk said that would be $[redacted] with tax. I thought to myself that the total seemed a little high, as I left with my products. As I arrived home, I checked the [redacted] web site and found that I had been charged pricing above [redacted] retail. The pricing is as follows;

For the products that I purchased, I paid over $ [redacted] above retail pricing

BUYER BEWARE! I realize that pricing cannot be disputed as a complaint however, if these practices are being used on a can of fuel injector cleaner what other unethical practices are going on with other products and services offered by this Business.Desired Settlement: Refund the difference between their pricing and [redacted] retail. Most importantly make other consumers aware of the practice of this business.

Spoke to the business and they are not a parts store but a service center that keeps very few [redacted] products on their shelves due to the high cost of shipping. This cost makes the price of the item at their store higher than what it would be normally. The customer paid for the products and left the store. Other products are sold in bulk at this location but [redacted] products are too expensive to sell at price due to how much it costs to keep them at this location.
