we paid for a well pump 2 months ago 1500$, our water is not working today. they are asking me to pay for a reset. additional 550$. I have no water.
worst customer service around. We had a well pump put in apx. 2 months ago at the cost of over 1500. I thought at the time what a great deal!! I was wrong and found that out today when the pump quit working and the "customer service" lady wanted to charge me 85$ to send a tech out to look at their mistake. Now they are saying the tech didn't set the pump low enough so we have to pay an additional 550 to reset the pump. total BS. We called another company and they are amazed that we need a reset after only 2 months. I think the cost of my reset should be paid by waterman 911. We got smart and went with another company to fix our well pump due to waterman 911s poor business practices.

Desired Outcome

I want Waterman 911 to pay for the reset of our pump at the sum of $550.00. i don't think they placed it down far enough. I had a kid here doing it and he was training his friend as well. I think his inexperience led to our problem.

Waterman911 did a well pump job for Mrs. on 3/14/2020.

Mrs. called our office on 5/29/2020 stating she had no water. We advised her of the $85 service call fee in case the problem was not relating to the work we had done in March. However, Waterman911 did NOT charge Mrs..

Upon arrival the technician noted that the pump needed to be pulled and reset and informed Mrs. the cost would be $550. Technician also relayed that the warranty on the pump would be honored if it were pump failure. Technician pulled pump out and his findings confirmed the pump itself was not the problem but rather the effects of a bad pressure tank causing pump to overheat (melted schedule 80 nipple to prove this) & causing no water going in to home. Mrs. did become upset with the findings as the price would still be $550. Mrs. asked technician to leave property and informed him that they were going to contact another company for a second opinion.

Unfortunately, we cannot pay Mrs. for work she had another company do. We were going to charge her $550 for the pull and reset & get her a brand new pump through warranty. It is unfortunate that another company charged Mrs. $1,064 for the same work we were going to do but could not make Mrs. do the work through us.

Waterman911s tec. was out 2 months prior and told me all our systems were fine.TWO MONTHS AGO OR STSTEM WAS FINE!! He told me the only thing wrong with my system was the well pump. The lies and cheating people needs to stop. They like you until they have to fix something they broke. The company that came and fixed their mistake told me that it was waterman 911 that was at fault and that they have done the same thing before and had to fix it for free. I at least know now that my well is in good hand with this new company. As for their tech pulling our pump, THAT IS A LIE!! IN FACT, their tech told us that the pump fell off the pipe....The pump was still attached to the pipe....the BROKEN PIPE!!!! Which was broken upon installation and had gotten worse over time. ....They had no idea what was wrong with my well...unless they knew they broke it before they left the first time. This company is trash. at the cost of 2560 my pump is now is fantastic working order with no help from waterman911. absolutely disturbing knowing companies can get away with this kind of "business practices" they are liars and I'm not sure how they can look their selves in the mirror. Im really looking forward to having their name removed from the Revdex.com. because better is not their business. As for not charging me the 85$ service fee, we waited for the tech to come to the door because the rude CS manager told me I would HAVE to pay whether it was their fault or not. so....That was ANOTHER LIE!!!
pic 1, and 2 were taken by me pic. 3 was taken by the new well company. this is what my well area looked like once the new company arrived.

waterman wasn't here long enough to pull the pump, plus he was ALONE and its a 2 man job. -more lies on waterman911

Refuses to come back and replace part.
I am been trying to get a problem resolved since Jan. 2020. A repair person has been to my home twice and then the owner came. He said since I gave the office a hard time, he refuses to come back after I paid $133.00 for a maintenance call. I would like to get a refund.

Desired Outcome

Part replaced and maintenance refund from previous visit. Problem is not resolved.

The owner of Waterman911 went to Mrs. house to resolve this issue personally. He spent one hour at her home, servicing the salt tank. The owner found the issue to be multiple pieces of plastic causing her brine/salt tank to overflow. After showing Mrs. it was a manufacturer error he told Mrs. to wait three days for the water level to lower. He told Mrs. if the problem persisted he would be back on Monday to return her old one to the manufacturer & would replace the entire unit at no charge to her. Mrs. agreed. I have attached a picture of the day of this service.

The water level was dropping daily, reflecting it was functioning properly. All was well until Mrs. called the emergency number on a Sunday and demanded a technician come out immediately. The office told Mrs., we would go to her property on Monday (the next day) & Mrs. started yelling, cursing, and threatening the office staff with lawyers, the news, etc. The office staff relayed this information to the owner and he called Mrs. to inform her we were unable to render services due to her threatening with lawyers, and cursing at the staff. He told Mrs. to do whatever she needed to do.

I called upset because the water was not going and was rising instead, the employee said she would call him and have him return the call which he did not. I said I would contact the Revdex.com and News. Never did I mention a lawyer! I did not yell or curse at her. She told me their was nothing wrong with my system and then I told her I was very upset that he did not call me back. Later that day he called and would not let me talk and told me he was not coming back and do what I need to do.

Paid monthly well water & entire home reverse osmosis system maintenance since 2016. Had issues, company unnecessarily removed reverse osmosis system
Have been paying $35/month for well water entire home Reverse Osmosis maintenance since 2016. In mid July I had a leak, told I needed new carbon filter, which I agreed. I noticed my Reverse Osmosis system was leaking too & I was told I could remove the system, was no longer needed if they installed a softener. Joe, with Waterman 911 stated I no longer needed the Reverse Osmosis & the softener would do the trick. I got a second opinion & my water was tested & the TDS levels were very unsafe, way past 7000 ppm. Anyone who works with well water systems would know this is very unsafe & can pose a variety of health hazards, which is obviously why I had an entire home Reverse Osmosis, that Joe, with Waterman 911 said was ok to remove. I can't understand why Waterman 911 took my system & felt a softener was all I needed, they have put mine & my kids health at risk & I am still without an entire home Reverse Osmosis System because I don't have extra $5K to replace the system (that was working) that Joe had removed.
The other company I had give me a second opinion has maintained the Water Softener they put in, since July 2019.

Desired Outcome

I'd like to have entire Reverse Osmosis system put back in or refund the $5,000 I'm gonna need to purchase new system. I'd like refunded $35/month since 2016 since they were not e-mailing me updates, as per Joe with Waterman 911 stated they should've been doing & they were obviously not maintaining my system. As per rusty brackets & leaking filter per pic I posted. I'd like financial reimbursement I will need to replace faucet fittings with deposits from hard water & the hardship I've suffered since July 2019.

Waterman911 Response • Dec 05, 2019

Mrs. has not been a customer of Waterman911 since July 2019, we have not been contacted by Mrs. prior to this.

On July 11th, 2019 Mrs. was having issues with her Whole Home Reverse Osmosis, we came out to address the problems she was having and were informed by her that she was about to have the city assessments put in soon, meaning any repairs done to her Reverse Osmosis system were going to be rendered useless in the future, as you cannot keep a whole house reverse osmosis on city water without producing 1-5 gallons of wastewater per one gallon of usable water, meaning a higher water bill.

Our technician recommended instead of spending more money on repairing her Whole House Reverse Osmosis, she replace it with a Sulfur Unit & Softener Unit that CAN be used on city water and would save her money both short & long term. At the time, Mrs. agreed and told us to go ahead and install the combo unit & she would pay us the next morning, we agreed and went ahead and installed the units at her property. The next morning, the office called Mrs. for payment & she let us know she got a better price from another company and to come pick up our equipment. We sent technicians out to her property to remove the new units that were installed and another company was already there. The technicians arrived, picked up our equipment & left Mrs. property.

We hadn't heard from Mrs. since then. Mrs. also never paid her last two invoices for the monthly maintenance, balance of $74.56 is still owed on her account, which were going to be waived as she was purchasing a new combo unit from us at that time.

We did not remove anything unnecessarily, the system was not functioning properly . We are unaware of what company Mrs. used to do the TDS reading, but 7000 ppm TDS was NOT the reading we obtained the day of installation. The TDS in her water at the time of service was 1700ppm, that information was relayed to Mrs. by the technician. The technician discussed this information with Mrs. and informed her the system would be functioning properly, and would function even better once the city water assessments were connected to her home. Once that occurred she'd be able to drink & enjoy her city water. We are unaware of what took place after our equipment was removed from her property.

I HAD NEVER mentioned my reverse Osmosis system was not working when I contacted Waterman 911 on July 11th. I called them because I was concerned regarding a possible leak in my water system & they even referred me to a plumber, who did not find a leak & can provide the name & payment I made to him on this day, no leak was found. I also did NOT state anything regarding not wanting the Osmosis system fixed, which was not even having any issues, but I was pushed by Joe, with Waterman 911 to not address the rusting & possible leaking, they replaced a carbon filter for $900.
I texted Joe, with Waterman 911 (still have the text) asking if adding the softener was better deal than fixing anything that needed to be done on the Home Reverse Osmosis..
He stated 100%, that I would be throwing my $$$ away...
I was NEVER notified of any TDS Levels then entire time I was with Waterman 911. Tom, with Waterman 911 also aware of the situation via my text to him...
I am happy to pay the $70 + I owe them if they restore my Home Reverse Osmosis, no city water for awhile....Have been suffering with horrible water Quality since July....this is a horrible situation....

After being sold whole home water treatment system and billing me 2,500.00 company declined to address issue with smelling water.
Was sold a whole home water system 02/04/19 price 2500.00 water quality after 9 months is extremely bad and company refuses to correct equipment failure issues unless they are paid 85.00 for a service call no guarantee or warranty with this company

Desired Outcome

Correct failure of water treatment equipment to prevent extremely poor water quality as owner guaranteed at the time he sold the system to me for 2500.00

Waterman911 Response • Nov 11, 2019

On November 5th, 2019 (within 24hrs of Mr. complaint), our technician went out to determine what was causing Mr. smelly water. Mr. purchased a sulfur and softener unit from Waterman911 on February 4th, 2019. This is the first time Mr. has contacted us regarding the smelly water. Mr. is not a monthly maintenance customer.

Upon arrival the technician took the appropriate steps to rectify this issue by removing the anode rod from the hot water heater, performing a sulfur recharge; which is a chemical treatment used every 6-12 months to break up any algae/sulfur bacteria that may accumulate inside of the filter and cause smelly water, and he also reset the timers on both units which needs to be done whenever the filters lose power for an extended period of time, as previously stated: we could have prevented this issue with regular maintenance at his property. We did not charge Mr. $85 for the service call. Mr. did not address any other concerns to the technician at the time of service.

We highly recommend our customers with problematic water (such as high levels of hydrogen sulfide, like Mr. has) to be on a monthly maintenance service plan, which includes the salt, for $35 plus tax per month to avoid any issues with their water treatment system in the future. Mr. declined the monthly maintenance service.

As of November 11th, 2019 Mr. has not contacted us again regarding the water smelling.

Owner addressed the issue in a satisfactory manner and resolved the problem

System under warranty, repair 3 days ago didnt have parts to fix said would be back Thursday April 12 2018 no show, office personnel not helping
I had a system put in November 2017 that carries a 10 yr warranty, noticed it wasnt using salt, in February, when I returned to home in April, water is full of sulfer and iron. I paid $4,000 for this system their guy talked me into despite my reservations. Swearing it was the best decision. The guy came out Monday April 9th and said he would return Thursday the 12th with parts to replace that were defective. I have called and have been met with incompetency beyond belief! I have major health issues that this undrinkable water exacerbates. They are a no show today. And if it isn't made right, I will file a law suit against them.

Desired Outcome

All I want is for them to get out here, fix the defective power cords and go. If they aren't going to stand behind their equipment despite the fact I chose not to have them deliver salt anymore then they won't get my business or any recommendations from me that's for sure! I am 55 yrs old, handicap and feel I am being taken advantage of!

This system was installed on October 19, 2017. Ms. let us know she had been out of town for months before she brought this to our attention. We would have caught this sooner, had she not cancelled maintenance on the system December of 2017, as she mentioned in her comlaint. Meaning we hadn't serviced this system in over four months. Upon our technician's arrival the outlet where the system was connected was separated from the wall and is what caused the transformers to short circuit, thus rendering the system useless as it was unable to properly treat and filter the water. We have attached a photo taken from our technician's cell phone at the time of service. *** refused to agree with our technician that was what caused her water to smell like sulfur & iron. However, out of good faith he replaced the sulfur unit's transformer plug, even though that part was not covered under warranty - due to not being a manufacturer's defect. The technician came back at his earliest convenience to then replace her softener's transformer plug as well. We never charged Ms. for any of the services or parts explained above. We tried to go above and beyond to help Ms. in any way possible. Please contact us with any questions or concerns at the number below.

They are completely incorrect, the outlet has nothing to do with it, the kid they sent out even used a volt meter to check it and power supply was and is fine. And their service only entails replacing salt in the brine tank. Not sure what it has to do with warranty or any other issue! I had even offered to PAY for replacement parts to which it was still 3 days later before anyone came back out to address the issue after finding it was in FACT DEFECTIVE parts!
I will see them in court!
