***, I am writing you today in response to a billing and overdue payment issue for;*** * *** *** *** *** *** ** ***Ms*** contacted Watermark by phone on 06-15-to come out to her residence and look at a pool cover we had installed for the previous
owner, the ***Scott A*** and Ted W*** went out to the *** residence and looked at the cover and agreed with Ms*** that the cover was not wearing properly and could possibly be flawedTed explained we would try to get the cover fabric replaced under the terms of the warranty which only covers the fabricHe also explained to her that the labor was not covered and that she (Ms***) would have to pay the $labor charge for us to install itMs*** then explained that the previous owner Mr *** had agreed with her to pay for the labor chargeWe were fine with whatever arrangements Ms*** had with Mr*** as long as the bill was paidWe received the cover fabric from Coverstar under warranty (at no charge to Ms***) and went out and installed the cover as agreedWe then sent an invoice to Ms*** for the agreed amount of $since our agreement was with Ms***We next heard from Ms*** on 11-11-when she called wanting Watermark to come out and adjust her pool coverWe told her that we would be glad to come out and adjust her cover at no charge as soon as she or *** paid the $that had been billed on 07-16-and was days overdueShe refused and told us to call ***, that he was responsible for paying the billMs*** ordered that the work be done and she is responsible for getting us paidAs stated above we will come out and adjust the cover at NO CHARGE as soon as the work we have completed is paid in full

*** *** [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, the consumer must give a reason why they are rejecting the responseIf the consumer does not provide a reason if he complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved]The response given by MrA*** at Watermark Pools is obviously false If my experience working with them was as he described, there would be no dispute I have concluded that he is a noncommunicator, unwilling (?) to meet and talk to me upfront, preferring to complete the work and send an invoice weeks later for his "services" Remember my attempts to be notified by A*** with a simple phone call to let me know when he was coming to look at the cover, and again when I expressly said I wanted to be home when he installed the cover There was no phone call before either service call Why wouldn't he perform that very basic, very reasonable, and EXPECTED request by me, the customer? I believe he is not entitled to invoice a customer when charges are not mentioned upfront, (this was supposed to be a warranty situation), leading me to believe there would be no charge for warranty work Upon receiving his bill, I of course questioned him about the charges He said the cover wasn't really under warranty Huh? Again there was absolutely no communication with me about this bit of news I feel I was blindsided with his invoice, repeated attempts to collect, and now he has sent me to a collection agency for nonpayment I hope my complaint will be a warning to others considering Watermark for their pool and spa needs
