Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 16, 2015/08/27) */ In regards to [redacted] resident at Park Place at Fair Oaks dishwasher issueWe had a Maintenance request on 6/18/with the following: Message: Had a pretty good water leak in the kitchen today after turning on the dishwasher Wanting someone to take a look at the machine Technician notes: Visual inspection underneath and inside dishwasherFrom visual maintenance found a burnt hole under heating elementThey informed resident the cause is from overloading the dishwasher or something being caught pushing it downThe resident said he has been smelling something burning in there for weeksAt that point maintenance told [redacted] they would have to replace the dishwasherResident asked how much it wasMaintenance said he would look it up and get back to himThe resident was informed of the cost and [redacted] said he refused to payI (Carissa- Community Manager) even agreed for the resident to pay half of the cost of the dishwasher and he still has not agreedWe have had the dishwasher uninstalled at our property since a few days after 6/18/(we ordered a brand new one) At this point it is ***'s fault for overloading the dishwasher therefore he will need to pay what he is responsible for which is the cost of the dishwasherWe will install the dishwasher and charge ***'s ledger
