Watermatic

Review: We have been customers of Watermatic for years now, and have an ice/water cooler with them. All the machines that different water companies offer are the same, it's the SERVICE that differentiates them. Over 3 weeks ago our water machine broke. Since then it's been a complete nightmare. Watermatic broke ties with the manufacturer that makes the machines we have (with ice) so they can't replace our product with one of equal value. So we would already have to downgrade the product. However ON TOP of that they are having insurance issues and can't get a certificate of insurance to install a new machine anyway, with no estimate of how long this is supposed to last. SO WE HAVE NO WATER - and have spent over $500 already on buying bottled water. However - they will not let us out of our contract!!! So we can't go and get water from someone else!! The two people who deal with this at Watermatic - have never called me back once, even though they repeatedly say they will, and the only time I have ever spoken to them is after hunting them down myself. So to summarize - they can't replace our machine, they can't even come install a different machine of lesser value, they don't know how long this will last, they won't get in touch with us, and they won't let us out of our contract so that we can stop spending time and money on this and sign up with someone else. In my 13 years of working have I ever seen anything like this. It's truly shameful how loyal customers are treated. They are not holding up to their end of their bargain in this business relationship (providing us with ice, water and service) but are requiring us to hold up ours (pay for nothing but aggravation).Desired Settlement: We want Watermatic to let us out of our contract immediately and cancel all remaining payments so that we can finally have water from someone else.

That is after additional numerous emails and phone calls. On top of that, the company they bill us through keeps writing us asking for payment!!!

Review: We leased a water filter from a company called Watermatic. Watermatic assured us that they would always assist us with their product and they did until they seem to have gone out of business. The filter no longer works. Both of their phone #'s are no longer in service. Nevertheless, we are still being billed monthly for this non-working filter by Time Payment Corp, who says they cannot help us. They keep giving us Watermatic's non-working #'s.Desired Settlement: A repair and changed water filters (there are 3 filters in the machine) and a # we can call if we have difficulty operating the machine.
