Ashpaugh Electric, Incperformed a scheduled service call on Wednesday morning Dec7th at 8am to check the GFCI protected receptacle in the garage that was inoperative The original appointment was made on Nov30th by Mrs***.Upon our arrival, my Master Electrician, in speaking
with Mrs*** found that she had forgotten to cancel the previously scheduled service appointment My Master Electrician contacted me to consider waiving the assessment fee With driving to the location, in speaking with my Master Electrician, the $initial assessment and trip fee would still be applicable.In the afternoon at approx3:15pm when my Master Electrician came into the office to turn in paperwork and discuss the day’s jobs, he further reiterated that Mrs***’s husband had a stroke and that was the reason she had forgotten to call in and cancel the appointment as originally set My Master Electrician stated that he could empathize with Mrs*** and her husband just recently having had a stroke I explained to my Master Electrician that we would waive all fees The fees have not been charged to her credit card, nor would they be charged I then called Mrs*** on her cellular number at *** at 3:48pm to apologize for my misunderstanding that morning and to assure her that there would be no fees charged to her credit card I made another follow up phone call on Dec8th at 3:02pm to her cellular number to personally be able to speak with her and not just apologize via a voice mail Unfortunately, I received her voice mail message again, at which time I again apologized for my misunderstanding and to assure her there had been no monies billed to her credit card.We are very thankful to serve the ***s and do not want this misunderstanding on my part to cast a shadow on our business relationship I also wish the ***s the very best and Mr*** a speedy and complete recovery.Most Respectfully Submitted,Brian AshpaughAshpaugh Electric, Inc
