I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
Regards, *** ***

Good morning, Please see the attachments in response to Mr. [redacted] letter, two proposal and service sheet.  Please contact Robert [redacted] at [redacted] with any questions.April 4, 2016Good Morning [redacted],In response to Mr. [redacted] complaint I have attached three documents the signed...

proposal, service sheet and a proposal for drain tile and drain eze to correct plugged drain tile. I Bob [redacted]' owner, of [redacted] Basement Services, Inc. at the request of Ms. [redacted] contacted [redacted] Basement Services, Inc. July 20, 2015 for an estimate to have Egress window installed. I Bob [redacted] on July 26, 2015 wrote a proposal to [redacted] I  [redacted] (see attached 13915). On Aug 10, 2015 Ms. [redacted] signed the contract, because of the clay soil changes were made to the original proposal. Please see Ms.  [redacted] initialed the changes. With the initial changes Ms. [redacted] was informed because of heavy clay soil water could come up from the ground. We do not warrant against ground water unless we can direct the water into a homeowners drain tile. Please see the (attached proposal 17915) written on September 10, 2015 for the installation of new drain tile, drain eze, sump basin, new pump mold inhibitor, dura wall waterproofing panels and check valve; with options to change the proposal as Mr. [redacted] and Ms. [redacted] drain tilewas plugged and not accepting water properly. Mr. [redacted] and Ms. [redacted] knew their drain tile was faulty that is why the proposal was written. Mr. [redacted] and Ms. [redacted] rejected the proposal. On October 19, 2015 Ms. [redacted] called and spoke with Bob [redacted], complaining about ground water getting in the bottom of the Egress Window (see attached services sheet). I reminded Ms. [redacted] when we installed the Egress Well because of the heavy clay soil water could come up from the ground. We don't warrant against ground water infiltration in an Egress Well. I did finish up my appointments that same day and drove to their home. Mr. [redacted] was not horne yet, Ms. [redacted] was very rude. I told her I would wait for Mr. [redacted] to arrive to discuss their concerns. When Mr. [redacted] arrived we proceeded to go down into the basement. I Bob [redacted] saw that Mr. [redacted] had started to replace his nonfunctioning drain tile himself. As a company we can't warrant any work completed by someone else. Mr. [redacted] stated he knew how to install drain tile and planned to finish it himself. I again explained how to fix thedrainage issue and offered my proposal (see attached 17915) to complete the necessary repairs. Mr. [redacted] and Ms [redacted] rejected my proposal, stating [redacted] would do it himself. I will make this note Ms. [redacted] wanted the Egress Window and Mr. [redacted] did not.  There was a lot of arguing among themselves during the project. I offered twice to fix their faulty drain tile (see attached proposal 17915 on September 10, 2015 and our services sheet onOctober 19, 2015). There has not been any contact with Mr. [redacted] or Ms. [redacted] from the date of October 19, 2015 until we received this customer concern. Mr. [redacted] and Ms. [redacted] drain tile was plugged and not accepting water properly.  We do not warrant against ground water unless we can direct the water into the  homeowners drain tile. I will restate [redacted] Basement Services, Inc. cannot warrant any work we have not completed ourselves. My company stands behind our work and I take pride in my company. Mr. [redacted] and Ms. [redacted] knew what was needed to correct their drainage issue and took it upon themselves to install their own drain tile. I find it insulting to have someone file a complaint without any merit.  Any questions please contact me at [redacted].  Sincerely,  Roberts [redacted], President  [redacted] Basement Services, Inc.

Excellent job on our basement! We have had water in our basement since we bought the house 20 years ago. Waters fixed it within hours. Very reasonable and fast.
Can't say enough good.
