Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this responseIt is clear that MrW*** and his company have no desire to act within the mission and vision of the Revdex.comHis untruthful statements and shoddy business practices do not advance marketplace trustMrW*** and his company have, in my opinion, acted unethicallyHe stated that he would return to fix my sprinkler system (which he broke) within the next few days--but failed to do so for more than a weekHe then attempts to shift all blame from himself and his company and, instead, blames rain, a five-mile driving distance, and me contacting him four times in a week--after a week had already passed and he failed to return--as reasons why he would not repair the filterRegardless, MrW***' and Waters Contracting's actions are outside of the Revdex.com's visionMrW*** and Waters Contracting are not acting ethically in the marketplace because MrW***' actions do not demonstrate that a consumer could rely upon him or his company to do what he states
Sincerely,

I did connect a remote controller to his system, this was only to operate the valves, it used power from his controller and operates just like his controller. It had nothing to do with his filter. The other 2 time he ran his system may have weakened the filter.  He says its not the case  that he was not going to pay me, then let him pay someone else. Because of his insistence that he be placed before my other customers, I chose not to provide service to him, and gave him his part back. It was a week of bad weather and rain, putting us behind on other customer  I had committed to and scheduled on my calendar and this guy kept contacting me to find out why I had not fixed his filter. When he gave me a deadline that I could not meet, I sent a driver down with his part that we had.  As I had talked to my attorney and this is what he told me to do. I then notified Mr [redacted] I would not be fixing it for him.  If he was going to pay me, why is he making this complaint and wanting me to pay for another company to fix the filter? Let him go pay another company to repair it. I don't need customer that keep calling me and insistence that he be placed before my other customers.

[redacted] did ask me to come look at his sprinkler system, I turned on each zone to look at it, has I turned on the last zone the filter did explode causing water to spray into the air. Both [redacted] and I were standing in the garage together by the controller about 20 feet from the...

filter. Until this happened I did not know the filter was in the valve box. I did mention to [redacted] that I had a used parts at the shop. I asked him if he would like me to fix the filter for him, I also stated that there would be a service call fee for doing so. The next 5 days the weather was bad and it rained a lot, because of this we were behind on services to other customers. In communications with [redacted] it became apparent to me he had no intention of paying me to fix his filter, in fact, he was blaming me for its failure. Upon discovering this I discuss this issue with some others I work with in the industry and my attorney on how to handle this so it took me a few day to get back to [redacted] to inform him I would not be fixing it. It amazes me and the other I talked to that [redacted] is holding me responsible for repairing his filter. This was the first time I had visited his property,  I was only doing what he had asked me to do. He had asked me to turn on his system to see how it could be improved. I turned on the 4 or 5 previous zone without a problem when I turned on the next zone the filter exploded. I was standing 20 feet away with [redacted] from the filter and I did even know it was there let alone touch or opened the valve box with the filter in it. The filter could have been old and weak from the cold winter and turning on the first few zone could have weakened the filter, even more, causing it to break.  My supplier sales dozens of these filter ever year to replace one that broke for the same reason. The water company could also had pressure regulator not working. [redacted] lives on the mountain hill and the water company needs to use pressure regulators to keep the pressure down. At the time of my visit to [redacted]'s home, the water system had only been on for 5 days and the water company may not have had time to check or adjust the pressure of the system yet. Holding me responsible for the filter breaking is like blaming your car mechanic for your battery in the car not working when all he did was try to start the car to see what was wrong.
